so how do you access a lot I phone that
you know the passcode to when you can't
type in in a previous video I showed how
to access a locked iphone that had a
broken touchscreen and it involved using
a an Apple keyboard since then I've been
doing some research to see if there's a
better approach and what I've come up
with is this so there's the log device
waiting for the password no matter what
you type it doesn't work so let's just
push that slightly out of the way when
I've done is purchased from eBay one of
these rubber keyboards and then a USB to
lightning connector the beauty about
these keyboards is they use very very
little power so what I'm going to do is
just connect this back in and then I'll
move the keyboard out of the way so
switch the phone on and then take it to
the access screen the thing is you need
to wait a few seconds and then the best
thing to do is to try typing in a number
and then do backspace to delete it the
reason for doing that is to make sure
all the numbers are working I'm using an
8 digit code do it separately and with
some force and take your time and there
you have it this thing is literally only
a few pounds and I'm gonna keep it an
emergency backup keyboard anyway
particularly when the kids are using it
and there you go
no need for a USB hub and extra power as
I needed for the Apple keyboard although
if you've got an Apple keyboard and
those it'll work but if you haven't get
one of these cheap uber keyboards I'll
put a link in the description to my blog
and the link in the blog where I got
this one from because obviously this one
works hope you liked the video thanks
for watching bye
