hello everyone today I'm going to show
you how to sim unlock the AT&T galaxy s4
just to show you what we're trying to
accomplish I've installed a foreign sim
in the device and as soon as you boot it
up it says emergency calls only you
swipe to unlock and you get this sim
unlock nib sim network unlock pin and
they make you enter it if we dismiss it
we can go into our phone base says
invalid SIM card network lock SIM card
inserted so let's start going through
the process I'll put a link to the
instructions where I found them in the
description below first off please like
this video and subscribe to my youtube
channel
you guys are the only reason why I'm
able to purchase these devices let's
turn the brightness up hit phone with a
dial star pound zero zero one one pound
now we're into the service mode menu it
says press the Menu button followed by
the back key menu button followed by
back key right here not there then hit
menu again and select key input says
please enter value enter 1 and press ok
press many one more time and tap back
again this will pro love the service
mode tap 1 for UMTS now select debug
screen followed by phone control from
the next screen pick Network lock you
get the reactions hit the one that says
3 the perso sha-256 off now you need to
hit back to main menu to do this hit the
menu button followed by the back key in
the main menu now pick 6 common then env
rebuild
so I'm going back until service mode
common env rebuild and for restore
backup this says the golden backup is
this
device will now go through a series of
conditions where it will first freeze
then get a wipe screen with blue LED on
and both capacitive buttons on after
which it will reboot automatically whole
process might take couple minutes so be
patient once it powers back on its
network I mop perfectly and this was
posted on xda-developers by such one
four three five five five
all right so unfortunately this won't
work for some people I still have the
invalid SIM card error if it work for
you great that's awesome go to the
xda-developers thread and you'll find
out why it might work for you and why it
might not I'm going to go ahead and put
in my 18 T sim at this point and just
drive on on a 18 T's Network because I
don't really need to unlock it but this
is one method that might work you can
also try calling ATT and if you've paid
off your phone and you're in good
standing they might give you the code
for free and of course you can source
this code from other locations but be
warned if you do this method you might
not be able to use those codes for more
information visit that end XDA again
