hey what is going on guys so you have a
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 or no 10 plus and
you forgot your password and you're
trying to do a factory reset using two
hard keys the thing is the first thing
you got to do to use the hard keys it
seems to power down your phone ok so
ever because you forgot your password
and you try to go ahead and power down
your phone first I'll power off power
off
oh it's asking me for my pin or password
just to power off I'm gonna show you
guys how to bypass this so take note
what you want to do is originally is
power down your phone once your phone is
completely off then what you want to do
is you want to boot into the recovery
menu okay and that's requires a two key
combination is to hold the volume up
button and the side button here present
hold the same time until you see the
Samsung logo and then right away it will
boot into the recovery menu where you
can do a factory reset however again we
cannot even turn off the phone because
it's asking us for a password so instead
of us go ahead and turning off our phone
what we're gonna do is we're gonna force
the note 10 to restart once it's about
to restart we're gonna go ahead and
press those two buttons volume up and
the power button here ok so how do you
do a force restart okay with the phone
if the phone is on right now so we're
gonna do a force restart this one
requires volume down and the side key
here the power button okay volume down
psyche so with the phone on right now
volume down psyche ready 1 2 3 I'm gonna
press it hold I'm gonna wait for about
like 10 seconds or so until I think it's
about to like reboot I think I'm gonna
go ahead and let go and now volume up in
power volume up in power you may have to
do this a bunch of times
ok I'm holding up the UH the power
button and the volume up ok I think I
made of did it a little bit too early
usually this takes me oh well I did it
right away ok so you guys see how that
is ok usually has it takes me like 5 or
6 times to do this I got lucky here on
the first shot anyways this boots us
right into the recovery menu and then we
can do the volume up or volume down to
scroll up or down
so I can go ahead and scroll down go
down to where it says white data /
factory reset now take note read read
what it says in red here let me focus in
on there it says if your phone is reset
you may need to enter the Google Account
information email address and password
associated with this phone to be able to
use it again so I do have the I have one
of my gmail addresses that sync to my
app on this phone so once I go ahead and
reset this once I get up to the setup
process I will have to enter that
particular gmail address in the password
to go ahead and finish up with a setup
ok anyways you go down to wipe data /
factory reset and to select it you
simply go ahead and press on the side
button here and then when you press it
it's going to ask you again you get this
message here that pops up wipe all user
data this cannot be undone so remember
once you do this it cannot be undone so
factory reset again guys
you're basically blowing out everything
on the phone so you're gonna lose all
your videos photos all of your saved
passwords all the third-party apps that
you download everything it's going to be
long gone as if you just bought this
note 10 brand new and took it out of the
box and then in some you take out of the
box you start off with the setup process
you gotta choose your language and
connect to your Wi-Fi and whatnot
anyways this cannot be undone so you
simply use the volume down rocker if you
want to continue go down to where it
says yes and then just select it go
ahead and press on the side button or
the power button here it'll go through
the process then it's going to boot back
up and then it's going to take another
like 10-15 minutes and so everything is
totally factory reset and then you'll be
at the very beginning of the setup
process as if again you took it out of
the box and start it back over anyways
guys let me know how many times it took
you to get to the Android recovery
thanks for watching I'll see you guys in
the next one okay bye
and I'm not going to factory reset the
spoon I was going to go back to know and
then I'll select the power button here
and then I was going to go ahead and
reboot normally because there's nothing
wrong with this phone here I don't have
to do a factory reset anyway so you guys
go thanks for watching guys bye
