hello friends today we are going to see
how to add or remove the security tab
from properties so guys first we will
see well this security tab ease so
whenever you click on any folder right
click on it and click on properties you
will get this security tab here so from
what is the use of this security tab so
you can peek you can modify the access
level of these security for any of the
users those are available on your
computer so currently I am having two
users on my computer that is this one
and one is administrator so you can
simply click on edit and change the
permissions like if you want this
administrator to have full control or
modify or whatever access you want to
give you can simply edit it right now so
the thing is how we can add or remove in
here our file system is NTFS file system
so this security tab will be by default
available but if you are using a fat or
fat32 file system the security tab will
not be available so how to make this tab
available we'll see it so
who go to the run command and type the
following command that is GP at it dot
MSC it will open the snapping off local
group policy editor this is
now go to the user configuration and
expand administrative template then
expand windows components
scroll down and select Windows Explorer
now on the right hand side panel you
will get multiple options multiple
settings so scroll down and find out
this option remove security tab so they
have once you click on this option at
the information for this option will be
available on the just left hand side of
it double click on remove Security tab
and here you will get the option not
configured enable or disable here as we
know that my file system is NTFS file
system so by default it will be like
Security tab is available by default on
the properties but if you want to remove
the Security tab what you have to do you
have to enable this feature because the
feature itself is saying that as we move
Security tab so in order to remove the
Security tab you have to enable it so
just click on enable click on OK and
close this local security policy editor
local group policy editor now if you go
to desktop and right click on the folder
any folder and click on properties you
will see that there is no security tab
available right now here the path
so if you want the security tab back
again then you have to disable the
feature by going through the same
process I hope you like this video thank
