all right I'm going to show you guys a
real quick tip on how to deal with
cabinet locks this is a cabinet lock
first off we don't really wreak a
cabinet locks but you can replace them
very easily if you look at this cabinet
lock I don't know the brand of it but
you could search around for a sticker or
something that gives you an indication
of what the brand is
but for this cabinet what we're going to
do is first off if you look on the front
of this you can see a little code I
think it says SL 145 or something to
that effect I can't really see with the
camera here but you can actually go
online and you can order keys for these
lops it's really easy to do and it
typically will only take about a week to
get those keys in so that's one way to
deal with a cabinet lock if you don't
really know what to do if you're faced
with one another technique is I can
actually take a hook pick like this I
can go in here and go to the back of the
cylinder push up or down and I can
actually pull this pull this thing out
now what I can do now is go to a shop or
a supplier find a key that will fit in
this and I can file it down until those
wafers are flush with this plug and I
can actually make a key from scratch
that way so those are really the two
ways of dealing with this easily and to
put it back in it's really easy just
slide it back in do the same thing to
use your hook pick two to get it back in
make sure you have it in there correctly
and
and you'd be all done now you could go
online and just buy the cylinder or the
hole lock itself and just replace this
little cylinder and you can solve the
issue that way as well
