on how to unprotect excel workbook
without password
so this is a sample workbook which is
protected with
password let me open this workbook
so if you look at this workbook you can
see that it is prompting me
for the password but i don't remember
the password
and all i want is the data inside this
excel workbook
let's see how to remove the password
protection using an
online tool and how to access the data
inside this excel workbook
let me click on cancel and i'm going to
close this workbook
and i'm going to copy this path because
i need this
later and this is the online tool that
i'm going to use
to remove the password protection from
the excel workbook

on the
unprotect your file it will take you to
the workflow
and here you need to click on the browse
so go to the path
where you keep the protected workbook
and select the workbook which you want
to unprotect so this is the sample
workbook
that i want to remove the password
protection so i'm selecting this one and
click on open
so within few seconds the file will be
uploaded to the server
next click on the next step
and here you need to select the approach
whether you want to remove the password
or find the password
in my case i want to remove the password
so i'm selecting the remove password
and click on the next step
so it will take a few seconds to remove
the password protection in the excel
workbook
and before this step you will be
prompted to enter a license key
if you are visiting this page for the
very first time
this is a paid tool you need to purchase
the license key to remove the password
protection
so i already purchased the license key
and it took the license key from the
cookies and that's why
it didn't prompt me for the license key
so within few seconds if you see here
it just remove the password protection
to the workbook
and my file is ready for download if you
click on
this link my file will be downloaded
so here you go so the file is downloaded
and if you don't
want this file to be on the server you
can click on the delete decrypted file
so that your file will be
deleted instantly otherwise within 24
hours your file will be automatically
deleted
let's go to the download folder and this
is my downloaded file let's see
whether it remove the password
protection or not
so if you look at this it didn't prompt
me any password
and i can able to access all the data
inside the excel workbook i can able to
edit
i can able to delete i can able to
insert record so now the password
protection for this workbook is
completely removed
even without knowing the password
