hi my name is Brian and this is how to
get spreadsheets out of read-only mode
now in Microsoft Excel the creator of a
spreadsheet has the option to open the
file that they create in read-only mode
which will keep users from changing that
specific iteration of that file so I
have this excel document open right now
and if I try to change this and then
save it it will tell me I cannot save it
because the document is in read-only
mode so here's how I can take the
read-only mode off I can go into file
and then save as and then under the save
as window
I hit options and then uncheck this box
read-only recommended hit OK and now I
can save this and take it off read-only
mode
