hey guys in this video i'm going to show
you how to unlock the screen of an
android tablet the example i'm using
here is a samsung galaxy tab
s6 lite now obviously if you don't have
a password it's just a swipe across the
screen
and then you're good to go but if you
have a pin code or a finger pattern
or another password beyond that and you
forgot what it is
you're not completely out of luck you
can still use your device you just have
to factory reset it
so to do this what we want to do is hold
the volume down button
with the power button here on the side
so first volume down then the power
button
and we're gonna hold those for maybe
around five or so seconds
and then once the screen turns off we're
gonna do volume up and the power button
at the same time and we're gonna hold
those down
until this samsung galaxy tab screen
goes away
so then it takes us to the android
recovery page and we have a number of
different options here
one of them is wipe data slash factory
reset so you use the volume buttons on
the side
to go down to that option and then you
click the action button or the power
button to select it
and you want to make sure that you want
to do a factory data reset
otherwise you can click cancel so you
just go down and you click the factory
data reset
you press the power button to select
that now i don't want to do a factory
reset on my device so i'm not going to
do that in this example but after you
click the factory data reset then after
that
click reboot system and then that will
into the factory reset
phase so i hope this video was helpful
once you go into that factory data reset
you should be able to reset up your
system from scratch
obviously it's not the most ideal
situation to completely reboot a device
but if you forget your password on how
to unlock the screen at least you can
continue to use your tablet
you just have to perform one of these
factory data resets so i hope this video
was helpful i appreciate you guys
