in this video I'm gonna talk about
batteries for safes and also a lot of
our electronic locks but most
importantly is for the safes I can't
stress this enough and you hear me talk
about a lot on the having good batteries
then three most popular batteries run
across are the double-a triple-a and the
nine volt battery you go to a lot of
jobs where the safe has failed to open
the customer may or may not have
replaced the batteries they may have
bought some batteries at wherever pop
them in the safe still won't open you go
there you should have your own fresh
batteries pop your own batteries that
you know are good and you'd be surprised
how many times it's safe open I'd say
80% of my lockouts on electronic safes
are battery related so again have the
three most popular styles I stick with
Duracell the best place to buy them I
find is Walmart because they have a high
turnover so you always have fresh
batteries so have yourself a package of
everything in your tool kit in your
service vehicle have double-a triple-a
and nine volt batteries that will save
your butt on a lots of electronic safe
lockout and also just for a more of an
upsell when you go to a house and they
have electronic deadbolt or key knob on
the door you replace the batteries it's
quick easy and fast easy way to make
some money the other product I really
like to have in my battery pack this
one's made by lock masters it's called
the jump box what I find if even after I
replace the batteries everything's fresh
I'm not electrician I really don't know
how it works but I just know if you need
that little extra oomph to get that
electronic lock mostly when I'm talking
the SNG
or the Lagarde or secure Rams you hook
up this blocks you know and it's got you
know mostly is we're dealing with nine
volts when we're dealing with the
commercial grade electronic safe
dials locks you hook this up even if the
wires are pinched inside and you hit the
power to it and then punch in your your
code this is the next step so the fresh
batteries don't work plug something like
this in there this is a product I've
been using for years it's fantastic it's
opened up lots and lots of safe I don't
know how long it lasts as long as I got
that green button I'm okay I've been on
this one for a couple years now I should
probably get a replacement I don't know
if you can replace the inside but the
bottom line is this product is great
there's similar products to it this is
my favorite it works so I harp on
batteries always have lots of batteries
in your service vehicle fresh from
Walmart I stick with Douro cells and get
one of these jump boxes they're not
inexpensive but they're gonna save your
butt and they're gonna get that safe
open and you'd be surprised again 80% of
my electronic safe lockouts fresh
batteries or this opens up the safe I
