How to unlock electric wheelchair
LOCKOUT MODE on a POWER WHEELCHAIR
hi this is Josh back again with another
troubleshooting video on troubleshooting
of your power wheelchair today we're
going to go over lockout modes on your
joystick how to get in them and how to
get out of them I have again Adam Baxter
here to help me out so most of the times
we get requests are and see a lot of
lock outs on power wheelchairs they're
good in a way because you can make it so
the kids can get them you can make it so
nobody else can drive it
that's another code now the other thing
is you can accidentally get in so our
first joystick which is a common style
is called a shark basically you have a
power button or an button a turtle and a
rabbit lockout mode is essentially this
where it goes from right to left in just
a scrolling motion to get it out of lock
out you go ahead and press your horn
button twice there you go you're out of
lock out get it back into lockout you
press and hold this button until you
hear a beep now you're in lockout same
way right to left and again to get it
out of lockout press and hold the horn
button twice there you go now the other
style is will take all a GC or a basic
joystick now this type of a lockout
basically is what the lights ascending
each time you'll see another light
flashed
it'll do it twice and then it'll shut
off on you that's that's the tell-tale
sign that you are in lockout to get down
a lockout simply go ahead and press your
joystick forward here beep go ahead and
press it back until you hear a beep your
joystick is now to block out get it back
into lockout chairs the lawn
press and hold the power button you'll
hear a beep freshers joystick forward
press your joystick tag to a mountain
lockout just press it on you know
lockout again get it out again you go
ahead and press your joystick forward
and plea here beep flag read you hear a
beep you're now on a lockout please like
