hey guys this Tampa Tech and if you ever
have a check engine light on your car
there's one way to reset it it could be
maybe your gas cap was too loose and set
off a sensor but this is one way to
reset it I actually took my car to
autozone they tested it and they said
that it could be air my gas tank because
the gas cap was not tight enough or
maybe you have a faulty gas cap so let's
go ahead and try to reset it and I'm
going to go to the engine so you want to
turn off the car first
so I normally do TV repairs tablet
repairs computer repairs and you know
Android stuff but this one's it since
this is my own van and I'll figure it
I'll show you and share it with you so
let's go ahead and we're gonna do is
take off the ground and put it somewhere
safe
now you want to hold it off for about
like maybe one whole minute two minutes
to be safe and that's you know the hard
reset computer and on your car now while
that's resetting I'm gonna check the gas
cap and make sure that's on securely so
I don't get the sensor to go off again
so if you look at it it looks kind of
beat-up and rough looking so maybe I
need a new gas cap after all
and it looks kind of rough
so I probably need an use a gas cap so
when the guy at autozone hooked up the
tester to the to my car
to my computer said err my tank probably
caused a faulty cap or a loose gas cap
so it looks like it's a faulty cap
because it looks really bad shape so I'm
probably gonna have to buy a new gas cap
so anyway here now I'm gonna put it back
on
there we go
see if it works
[Music]
turn on the car boom it's gone tick and
you have to reset my clock I guess
that's fine so it looks like I have to
buying a gas cap after all anyway thanks
