hello guys so today I'm gonna show you
how to perform a reset on your Kindle
Touch and we'll also show how to perform
reset to default settings so kind of a
restore on the device itself so
sometimes this is very helpful when when
you have a frozen screen or let's say
issues with downloading some content or
maybe part of the screen and the touch
screen doesn't work properly and so this
these resets would definitely be helpful
to kind of isolate the issue completely
so the first reset that you can perform
is it's a simple reset with the button
only there's only one button iPod touch
and Kindle Touch so what you do is hold
this button so you press it hold it for
full 40 seconds okay so you hold it
yeah we don't do anything with them with
the screen that we've seen therefore
reset just still hold it
we can let go
whatever is happening on the screen I
just tried to hold it for at least 40 40
seconds then let go you will see the bar
loading up it should be quite fairly
quickly and around 30 seconds up to a
minute and we should have the device
back again in the home screen
so this option is very helpful when you
when you cannot touch anything the
screen is completely frozen and you
cannot get to the home screen at all and
so the second option there is through
the menu itself so this is exactly the
same research that you can perform so
you select the three bands there menu go
to settings and you click on the bar at
the top right once again and you have
two options so restart which is exactly
the same and type of reset that we
performed before or reset device and
that is actually a reset to default and
as you can see from the screen there it
will remove all the download downloaded
or transferred contacts it will wipe the
device clean ok this is cool if you're
selling the device to someone and some
and you're just getting rid of the
devisor you're registering it for
someone else we won't do this but yeah
we'll just finish we've done if both of
the options aren't working and of course
I would advise to plug the device to a
charger and making sure that the charger
is working either for the wall socket or
for the computer and then and trying to
see if there is any response on the
screen after half an hour an hour or so
if still we you still have some troubles
that might be considered a hardware
issue and I would advise and checking
whether you still have a warranty and
you can and use your two years warranty
on your device if you have any queries
guys please post them down below if
you've if the the video was interesting
