How to unlock DSTV Remote B5
Step 1 - Power off the DSTV decoder
Unplug your DSTV decoder from its power source, wait for several seconds then plug it back in.
Step 2 - Open the B5 remote menu
Press Menu, Services, Options, and then Advanced Options.
Step 3 - Enter the unlocking code
Enter the code 555, using the number keys on the remote, then press the Select button.
Step 4 - Unlock the remote
Select the button Unlock on the top right hand corner of the screen, then press Select to confirm the unlock.
