hello this is a hook it's a way falak if
you look inside you can see I think we
can see one two three four five or six
wafers in there you might recognize this
it's a kind of lock you get on my desk
drawer no one Scrolls in place goes
through the hole in the drawer in there
and this mechanism of the back here you
can see of your phone's swivels one
weighs four was the other way and locks
against another piece of metal to lock
the draw and from being opened so I
thought we would I've got picking this
just for a bit of fun then the problem I
found with this was actually securing it
so we can pick it okay I don't have a
key for this he was taken out of a desk
because it didn't work and sometimes it
was catching so I took it out the desk
hopefully that's not too tight so I'm
going to pick this with well you know I
can pick up this standard wrench but
don't you wrench and you know it this is
too long I don't other really sholde so
I could push it all the way in and I
could try putting a bit to get it make
sure the pickets behind it and I thought
I would use we conventionally use this
top of the keyway tension wrench and
I'll try picking it with three different
picks I thought we would go for the
Picasso so we're going to
use the half bulb to pick this first and
then I think we'll go with we'll try
with this four dimple a dimpled rake
just for the sake of fun and then I
thought we would ever single picking
this hook now pick this hook because you
can see it's got a little Ridge here
sorry same focus try focusing there's a
little Ridge can see you there and then
just nicely catches on the on the wafers
so it's have a go picking this so I put
in the tension wrench I tend to bring
the tension wrench putting the half ball
sure this should just be enough space to
get in there she didn't see him I'm in
trouble keeping it from moving obviously
if he was in a draw it wasn't it
wouldn't move it nice and rigid try this
okay so I go in all the way in put a bit
of pressure against the wafers move up
and down and there you go she's come
there he is good take him back walk him
back up again so that was the half
double that bomb let's try this dimple
wreak on a wafer lock why not
so we'll put it in all the way put a bit
of pressure again so the wafers and we
just do a little bit of raking up and
down and though she goes lock it back up
again and thirdly let's go for this pick
that nice little v-shape just nice to
catch on the wafers okay let's give this
a go try to stay away from the camera
let's go all the way in first
we're gonna make a lots of rusty and
sandwich into a culvert Peck my biggest
problem is keeping enough space with a
tension range so I can actually gather
picking the because of unlike the other
two the raking motion there's a narrow
gap you could just slide it in and rake
up and down but with this the pick he's
tend to want to have a bit of a movement
along the gap in the lock
though she goes open tuck it all the way
around this time click and she's locked
again the other way so it's a little bit
stiff though the vise I'm gripping it so
tight it's putting a bit of pressure on
this and it's maybe put a bit of tension
on the on the car so there you go and
they said look there you go again
other way firs so he gonna stick
something you desk drawer at work you're
walking it with this don't think that
this is going to really make it that
secure and I've got to confess
I mean said that I've got a confessor
years ago I would find that it's or lost
the keys are the draw was locked shots
and I would actually be drilling these
out are surprising though the door the
just draw open to get in and I never
realized just how easy it was I mean I
may have poked something in though a bit
of a wiggle but not really got anywhere
sweeping with a non skilled attack you
know it didn't you did feel a little bit
of effort involved a little tiny bit of
knowledge so that you got a desk could
draw what
scratching really good quality one
opened up three different ways hey
thanks for watching have a nice day bye
bye now
