(safe opening)
- There's several ways to open up the bathroom doors,
and there's basically three types of locks.
This is number one or number two,
depending how you wanna do it.
It's extremely easy to open,
but you need a slightly different tool
than the other locks.
You could just use anything and poke it,
a skewer, piece of metal,
as you see in the video.
This one requires a little, tiny flathead screwdriver
or the tool that came with the lock.
There's various methods.
I'll even show you how to open it
with a paper clip.
Now, I've never ran across this ever,
but on the new homes, in theory,
when they put the bathroom,
and this is locked right now.
When they put the bathroom lock on the door,
right above casing, they're supposed to put
the little emergency room key.
I've never found it (laughs)
in anywhere I've ever gone.
You're first thing to do
is just check along the top,
see if it's there.
If it's not there, and it usually isn't,
I've never seen them,
how many zillions of bathroom doors I've opened.
But if you're lucky enough to have it,
it's basically just a little
flathead screwdriver, almost, on the end.
If you have a little screwdriver
or you have the tool or,
and I'll show you other methods,
it's really simple.
The door's locked.
Just put it in the hole,
and you gotta get in the slot.
Listen to this.
(click)
Just turn it,
and it's open.
Extremely simple,
(door shuts)
but you have to get in that slot.
As you saw in the old ones,
you just give it a push and
boom, it opened up.
Any paper clip will do.
Basically, we're just unfolding the paper clip.
I want to make it look like that.
I got my little,
little spot here.
Very, very easy.
You gotta think it's like
the flathead screwdriver going in there,
so a little paper clip,
and we'll try this.
I had to actually take the rubber off of this,
the little plasti dip.
Don't have to go in that far.
(clicking)
There we go.
