hi guys uh i've been trying to figure
out how to unlock to bypass the child
lock on a honda civic 2016. i guess this
works with
so many hondas
um and i struggled with this no answer i
couldn't find an answer to it i figured
why not post this and help somebody
just you know i'm not into
vehicle or youtube
generating views by doing this i just
felt why not doing it and help somebody
who might be going through what i went
through anyway so sometimes
it tells you to go to the settings
and
go to vehicle
then
door window setup
after that you can go to
um auto door lock that one
so you can turn it off if you don't want
it to be
um to come on automatic
especially for me it was working it
wasn't working on the right door but on
the left it was okay so i could turn it
off
so off has been selected that's fine you
go back but sometimes even after doing
that
the issue was not resolved
so i came to realize where the issue was
it's actually you gotta fix it by going
outside
opening the car door and
um unlock it i'll show you how it's done
now here i am behind
on the back door the passenger right
side door if you open it
you will see that here
this
lock you see it's up right it's up means
it's open but when it is down here it
means it's locked
so even though you go in the settings
and you
you bypass all the auto lock you won't
help unless you come here
and pull this thing up like that that
fixes the issue i hope this works for
you guys
god bless
drive safe
