So you want to unlock all 12 secret characters and the 7 hidden stages in Super Smash Bros.
3DS huh?
It's actually pretty simple. For every 10-matches that you play, you'll have the chance to unlock
a new character, and since there's 12 characters to unlock, that means you can snag them all
in as few as 120-matches.
So after 10 matches, you'll have Ness. 20 Falco. 30 Wario., 40 Lucina, 50 Dark Pit,
60 Dr. Mario, 70 ROB, 80 Ganondorf, 90 Mr. game & Watch, 100 Bowser Jr, 110 Duck Hunt,
and last but not Least, 120 for Jigglypuff.
But if that still sounds like too much work, you can speed up the process by setting each
match to 1-stock only, then committing suicide at the very start--yep, that'll count as a
match. And it'll help if you choose a small stage, like Final Destination, and a character
with a high fall-speed, like Fox. Repeat that 120-times and you'll have all the characters
available to you in no time.
Now if that doesn't sound particularly exciting to you, each character also has a secondary
unlock method, most of which involves completing Classic Mode. Bu not all of these conditions
are yet known, so I'll be updating this video with that information later.
As for the stages, well they're all unlocked by meeting specific requirements on the Challenge
screen.
So for Balloon Fight, you just have to use the Villager in at least 3 matches
For Dream Land, Use Kirby's Final Smash To unlock Mute City use Captain Falcon in
at least 3 matches For Pac-Maze, simply use Pac-Man's Final Smash
To earn Magicant, you only have to unlock Ness
And similarly, you can unlock the WarioWare, Inc stage by simply unlocking Wario himself
Finally, Flat Zone 2 will be awarded for unlocking Mr. Game & Watch. But you can only accomplish
this one once you've gained access to the 2nd Challenges Pane.
So there you have it, that's how you unlock every character and stage in Super Smash bros.
