How to Unlock Cibil Account
Step 1: Get Your Credit Report
Get a copy of your credit report. You can get your most recent credit report from Cibil for free after every 12 months. To get the credit report, you will have to create an account on their website.
Step 2: Find Reasons for Account Lock
Find out the reasons why your account has been locked. Your credit report will contain reason(s) as to why your account has been locked. Make sure to consider any comments or suggestions provided along with the reason stated.
Step 3: Contact Cibil For Dispute Resolution
Contact Cibil. After you have thoroughly reviewed your credit report, contact Cibil via email in order to dispute any inaccuracies noticed in the credit report and to explain why your account should be unlocked. Make sure that you include all relevant documentation along with your complaint.
