to unlock all the characters in Super
Smash ultimate really quickly you first
need to be in the home screen of your
switch once you're there just start up
your game and we're actually gonna do a
versus battle now doing this method
should take approximately an hour and a
half to two hours depending on your
skill level and what we're gonna do is
we're gonna do custom versus battle so
we're not gonna focus on world of light
and we're not going to focus on classic
mode
now once the game starts you're gonna go
into vs. battle which is located on the
smash section now once you're here
you're gonna make your own rules now the
rules are gonna be 1 stock and CPU level
at 1 and also damage handicap on make
sure you set these rules up because
they're really important the others
don't really matter and once you have
the rules all set up make sure you save
them and you can name it whatever you
want once you have the rules saved pick
the stage that you want to play in it
could be random it could be any stage it
doesn't really matter and also your
character doesn't really matter and your
opponent doesn't matter either just make
sure that you edit their percentage to
300 once the match starts
make sure you defeat the opponent as
soon as possible this doesn't really
affect how the exploit works but if you
do want to do this super fast and take
the least amount of time then just try
to finish this as fast as possible
so once you defeat the level 1 CPU you
should get a challenger has approached
now this is your chance to unlock that
character that has approached you now if
for any reason the character does not
show up then just close your game again
and then do the same thing over again
there shouldn't be a reason that this
doesn't work but if it does just restart
your game and it should work now once
you defeat the character you should be
able to unlock them and once you get
onto the stage screen make sure you
close your game and restart it again the
reason why we're gonna do this is
because every time you unlock a
character the game gives you a 10 minute
cooldown where you have to wait 10
minutes before another challenger can
approach you however if you close your
game and reopen it again then that
cooldown gets removed so every time you
close your game and you're on a 10
minute cooldown and you start up the
game again then the cooldown will be
reset so once you do a versus battle and
you defeat the level 1 CPU another
challenger will approach you and you'll
be able to unlock the next character
which is why I said it will take you
about an hour and a half to two hours
because depending on how fast you can
defeat the challengers will determine
how fast you can unlock all the
characters now I will show you here is
the other example of how I reset the
game started another match and I'll get
another challenger nothing here has been
edited other than the part where I cut
out the fight because I really suck at
this game so it takes me a while to
defeat these challengers so yeah other
than that there's no really sort of
editing to the video just to show you
that this is how it works and also if
you do fail to defeat the Challenger
there is actually a way for you to fight
them again one way is to restart the
game as soon as the announcer says game
once you restart the game and you defeat
the level 1 CPU you should be able to
fight the Challenger that you lost to
again because the game didn't have
enough time to save that you lost
against them if you're not fast enough
in restarting the game then there is
another way to fight the challengers and
that's by going to games and more and
there should be a little gate there that
you can click on which will allow you to
do rematches now that's pretty much it

update will contain or if it's an update
