that's cool
whoo hello everyone welcome this video
I'm going to show you guys how I use the
d-pad controller there is no proper way
as long as it is comfortable for your
hands you don't have to follow exactly
the same as this video because our hands
are different than the way we hold the
controller is different so use this
video as the reference and for those who
are new to fighting game hopefully this
video can help you out okay part 1 I'm
going to show you guys how I hold the
controller so I hold the controller like
like this both of my thumb's are on the
face of the controller and then my both
of my index fingers are on the back ones
here and then my other three fingers are
just gripping onto the controller here
so I'm basically when I play Street
Fighter 5 I'm pretty much using only
four fingers in the event if I need to
do a beat trigger okay but I'm gonna go
into that in a bit
part two I'm going to show you guys how
I configure or map my button layout so
in Street Fighter 5 my light punch is
square my medium punch is triangle my
heavy punch is all 1 my light King is X
my medium cake is circle and my heavy
cake okay my heavy cake is r2 over here
on my left my l1 is crap okay or
sometimes I grab like this okay
depending on this situation
okay and then my l2 is v-skill okay my
l2 is my V skill so you're gonna say
what about your V trigger because
v-trigger is not used that much maybe in
one round you maybe only use it about
one time so I don't have it configured
to a pawn whether I just basically
activated by pressing both buttons and
it works for me maybe if it doesn't work
for you you can actually just configure
one of these buttons for me trigger but
this way it actually works for me
part three I'm going to show you how to
do a fireball to do a five voice
basically down forward so if you press
down forward fast enough kind of sliding
kind of look like you're sliding up okay
it will do a fireball so my tummy is
kind of like tapping might the tip of my
tongue is kinda right here and as I'm
going left I'm kind of like rolling a
little bit not like flat - like flat not
like here not like this but like Adam
but like kind of like like kinda like
turning a little bit you see you see I'm
Adam it's kind of like turning a little
bit to get that motion okay
so that's how I do a fireball the thing
with using the the pad is that everyone
has a different style so this is just a
reference for you don't try to do it
exactly the same because sometimes our
finger is different the way we hold the
controller is different use it whatever
is comfortable so use this as like a
reference
par for how to do a show you can owe an
uppercut so as we know doing a fireball
is just down up sliding your finger up
right if you can do a fireball you can
do a uppercut easier so the motion that
I do it is forward and then down forward
so okay you see that is one motion is
you you basically press forward and then
you don't let go don't let go and just
come back here and then go back up okay
like this so it's forward down forward
not like forward and then that come over
your hand and try to like come up again
it's kind of it's gonna be like one full
motion okay okay
give that a little practice basically
one like down and then come here and go
back up okay give that a gift at some
practice and on the right side is the
same thing okay okay forward down
forward okay
part five canceling a quarter-circle
into a super it's actually a lot easier
than you think guys so as we know we use
five boys quarter-circle forward and in
super is double quarter-circle forward
punch what we what we need is basically
just two fireball but do it fast like
fireball and then like fireball but when
you put it fast together it becomes a
fireball cancel into super very easy
right so what happens is when you do the
fireball motion the fireball motion is
quarter-circle forward punch it
satisfies the inputs for half of the
super because the super is double
basically two five emotions so when you
do this motion it the game counts as
half of the input for the super so you
don't have to do like fireball and then
I fireball fireball okay you all you
need a dislike fireball and fireball
okay so practice practice that a little
bit and you'll be you'll be good
this 505 or you will never miss a super
again okay the same concept applies for
characters with a quarter so go backward
move in this case Nash has a quarter
circle backward kick so you can apply
the same concept because a super is
double quarter circle backward punch so
you can just do basically backward
fireball kick and then backward fireball
punch okay it's going to look like this
okay very easy so once you get that down
you will never miss a chain into a move
into a super you know cancel into a
super okay just like that
partner mystics canceling a short get
into a super okay so all you need to do
is basically get the story can down okay
as we all know the shoryuken is forward
and then down forward okay get that down
once you cut that down all you needed to
do is just add another fireball right
after it okay but if you can't if you
are having trouble doing the shoryuken
you're gonna have some trouble doing the
whole thing so I would say practice them
separately okay get this one down first
once you get it down you would you it is
just a simple fireball afterward okay so
once you do that on the other side is
the same thing on that side is just the
same thing
when you do your combo okay
part seven basic movements and basic
combos so you can get an idea of how my
hand moves okay so for ex fireball I use
these two buns or these two plan
basically r1 and triangle or all one and
square
okay or these okay and same thing for
spin kick will beat these two buns or
these two buns okay same thing so you
can get an idea
of the basic movements of my fingers
something like that okay that's right
Wow chef stuff is really good
[Applause]
oh my god that that's that looks really
cool I mean we set that what else is
like
[Applause]
okay that's cool
ooh very nice
so hopefully this video can help those
who are having some trouble with the
d-pad I hope you learned something new
whether you are a pad user and our case
the user a hitbox user or a keyboard
user it is always good to explore all
options because you never know you may
be really good in a different controller
and not know it so I always encourage
you to learn something new and try
something different as always thank you
guys so much for watching like comment
subscribe is always helpful for a small
Channel and thank you for watching and
I'll see you guys on the next video
