hey guys I'm Jenny from Asda calm today
I was looking for a used iPhone 6 for my
brother-in-law and I'm quite surprised
there people are selling two-year-old
one-year-old iPhones and they are still
locked to a network well some of some of
us know how to unlock it from Network
and it's actually free of course as well
you don't have to pay anything to your
whatever the network you're on so I live
in UK so I'm talking about the mobile
network like EE
Vodafone or o 2 or 3 or something like
that so today I'm going to show you how
you can unlock your phone from your
network and it's not as software unlock
it's it's it's not an off the market
unlock or anything if you are expecting
that you can stop watching the video it
is actually unlocking from the network
itself which is a genuine and which is
all which I always recommend doing it
alright so usually I'm not sure I think
usually it's it's it's it's with the
girls or maybe older people they don't
like to get it unlocked or they don't
know they can unlock it from the network
or they think they have to pay for
unlocking but it's actually free of
course with most networks today I will
show you how you can do that so before I
show you how you can do that I'll show
you what I'm talking about right so
there are so you can see there is a
phone here for sale right let's listen
move to the next one this is factory
unlocked so it is unlocked phone that's
fine but if you see the next one it is
locked - EE that's iPhone 6 16gb I would
think it is probably more than a year
old
based on the price as well right so
there is another one I have seen earlier
which is locked to auto phone you know
on on order phone so and another one is
on order phone again and another one is
on EE so
you know what I'm what I am and right so
this is there is another one talking
about locked order phone but can be
unlocked at a shop at the market why do
you want to go to the shop or a market
you know and you don't want to pay money
to you know a shop assistant and then
get it unlocked and then come home and
update the software and then it locks
again right what's the point if you're
on auto phone or E or whatever your
network can unlock it so now I'm going
to show you so let's say you're on e
contract anyway I believe most of the
prepaid phones are unlocked anyway so
that's fine so they so you're on a
pay-as-you-go contract with e let's say
and if you just type in like unlock my
iPhone PE write draw our unlock my phone
e and it will pop up set up you know
unlocking your device and the article is
right there you know you just need to
fill a form and they will unlock it for
you it's easy you know you just go
through the process and they will ask
you some details and you go through it
and it it will be unlucky just need to
once you get the message about unlocking
you just need to connect it back to the
iTunes and then sync it at the same with
any other network as well in order phone
it's same you just type Google unlock
your phone order phone and then it will
take you to the form where they will ask
you for three or four requirement
questions I think the questions are like
you have to be using the phone for more
than 30 days and you have to pay your
bills on time for last three bills or
things things like that so you have to
be a good guy basically so this is the
form to unlock it I have unlocked two of
my phones like this you know
two of my iPhone's like this so you just
fill the farm and you will get a message
in a couple of days that you your phone
is are unlocked and you can sync it with
itunes to unlock it or you can try it
with a different sim as well so the form
is simple you can just fail or fail fail
fail and it will ask you for IMEI number
IMEI number is easy you can find it in
your settings of the your iPhone or you
can you have to dial star harsh zero six
hash and you will know your IMEI number
it's right there and you can also find
it in your settings you just fill it
fill the fill IM a number and submit the
form you'll get the message is same one
or two as well and it's same on any
other network I believe so this is how
you unlock it and this is the most
recommended way as well I wouldn't
recommend any other way just go to your
network if they charge you sometimes if
you are still under contract like less
than three months or something like that
they likely charge you 20 pounds or some
network charge you're 10 points you know
you pay for it it's it's better than
paying going into the market and off the
of the market unlocking stuff but
usually if you are after three or six
months contract depending on the network
they will unlock it for you for free and
this works for up to iPhone 6 and 6s I'm
not sure about the terms at 7 or 7 plus
as you can see in the o2 website if you
have got a 7 or 7 plus you won't be able
to get it unlock unless you have paid
off your entire device plan in full it
may be same with other networks but I'm
not sure and it might work but this is
the best way this is the most
recommended way thank you very much
