How To Unlock Samsung Galaxy S8

Aaron here for Zolo Tech and I wanted to

show you how to unlock the Samsung

Galaxy s8 this is actually locked to

AT&T and if we want to use it on another

network such as t-mobile or any other

GSM carrier worldwide we'll need to

unlock it so I've partnered with the

unlocking company to actually sponsor

this video so that we can unlock the

phone now the first thing we need to do

in order to do that is to get the IMEI

number so to do that we go into the

dialer then we're going to dial star

pound zero six pound once this pops up

we'll take the number and we need to go

over to the unlocking company comm so

that we can actually get our unlock code

so let's do that now we're at the

unlocking company comm and the first

thing we need to do is select our

manufacturer so we'll select Samsung and

then we'll scroll down until we get to

this Galaxy s8 and you'll see that

there's an awful lot of different

devices that they support as well so

we'll select s8 and then we'll click on

unlock now on this screen we need to

select the country we purchased it from

and then we need to select the carrier

as well so in this case it's AT&T we'll

go ahead and hit next and on this screen

is where we need to input the code that

we got earlier so we'll go ahead and do

that now so you'll see I have my

information in and up here is the price

now this can vary depending on the

country and the carrier that you have

your phone with it also can take one to

72 hours according to this but sometimes

it can take shorter sometimes it can

take longer it just depends on how

quickly they can retrieve the code for

you so we'll go ahead and click order

now and on this screen this is where

we'll pay and once we've paid we'll get

our code in an email and then we'll be

able to enter into the device so let me

show you that now once you've got your

email back from the unlocking

company.com we need to put it into the

device so that it's permanently unlocked

and once it's unlocked it will never

rely so I've got my t-mobile SIM card

here and we're going to put this into

the galaxy s 8 and we'll unlock it but

the first thing we need to do is power

it off so we'll power it off and once it

shuts down here we'll wait for it there

we go we need to pop out the SIM card

tray and that's up here pop this out

I've placed my SIM card into the SIM

card tray we'll put it back into the

device and then we'll power it back on

now that it's powered on you'll see it

says invalid SIM card we'll unlock the

phone and immediately it goes to enter a

network unlock code so what we need to

do is put the code in that we got from

the unlocking company so that we can

unlock this now before you do this be

very careful you only get ten tries and

after that tenth try you can no longer

unlock it so just be careful as you

input the code so let's do that now now

that we have the code input we just need

to hit unlock and it says network unlock

successful and that's all there is to it

now that it's unlocked we'll make sure

that it works you'll see it says 4G LTE

I only have two bars here where I'm at

now let's go into chrome and make sure

we can go to a web browser and go to

different websites so I'll go to my site

here and make sure it loads now you'll

notice I'm not on Wi-Fi I'm on 4G and it

okay we'll make sure that we can go into

the next one here there we go and we're

at the next website page so it's

everything's working okay it seems to be

working like it should be and it's

permanently unlocked it will never walk

again and you can use it on any GSM

carrier worldwide so I'll leave a link

to the unlocking company comm in the

description below so you can check it

out if you've used them before let us

know your experience in the comments

below I've used them for years and

they've been great and they've unlocked

every phone I've given them if you have

any other questions they'll let us know
