today we're going to fix this focus the
power door lock will not unlock and we
got to open with the handle but the
thing won't go back down either so we're
gonna pull the door panel off and see
what's going on there's probably one
more underneath this little thing over
here yep I got this little thing here
popped out and there's a t30 behind it
these two or t20 sevens and they
Stephanie this one baby yep that one
back here gee-whiz Ford there's another
t30 back here there we go
oh I'll get this off still probably
I'll put a lift right off in there it's
unplugging this first I guess I don't go
too crazy because you still have white
harnesses plugged in there you go then
we got three t25 here holding the actual
lock cylinder inside we're gonna try and
pull the whole thing out now one more
rod I couldn't unhook with a connected
see if I can weasel it off of there
I have to a bunch of twisting and
contorting we finally got everything I
hooked in there I believe and here it is
so the problem is something internally
here's messed up use this rod physically
there man
all we're gonna take this apart I guess
and see what we can do with it but that
I mean you can pull us up with your
fingertips normally that should not be
like that that's for sure so I tried
taking the part in the little clips were
just breaking off and I figured I'd
probably make it worse so we called
around a log to a couple different auto
parts stores and nobody sells these this
other ones for the back doors but not
the front and we didn't call the dealers
it's a Sunday and I just rambling the
thing really hard and it broke loose
so a good measure I used my favorite
and justice brothers chan Lube
specifically justice brothers it's about
nine bucks a can but this is the best
lube for anything I've ever used and
I'll stick in there really good and it's
um let's see it says it on the can
somewhere right there anti-static so it
doesn't attract attract dust and dirt i
lubricate the running boards at my
extradition with hit the power running
boards that go up and down in the open
the door gravel and they're clean all
the time there's no dust on or anything
so now we're just gonna put it back in
and see if we can find a used one cheap
or something but for now it seems to be
working all right go back together and
it boobs nice and easy now push it right
down and I'm right back up
so hopefully this last and it's not just
a five minute fix it'll be good to go
for a while you guys like these other
