Hello guys, welcome back to the channel, today let’s talk about reset iPhone.
As we all know, it’s easy to get your iPhone factory reset if you can access to the home
screen.
What if not?
What if you forgot the lock screen passcode and could unlock your iPhone, what’s worse
is that after entering wrong passcode for many times, your iPhone would be disabled.
So in today’s video, I’ll show you how to reset a disabled iPhone without iTunes
in two ways.
Now let’s dive in!
So the first method I’ll use in this video is a third-party tool called 4uKey, which
can help you unlock your iPhone lock screen passcode and factory reset it at the same
time.
So you need to connect your iPhone to computer with a lightning cable first.
Then on 4uKey, click on first option unlock lock screen passcode.
Click start.
It shows no device detected, so you need to put your iPhone into recovery mode followed
the instructions.
For an iPhone 12, is to press and release the volume up, then press and release the
volume down, then press and hold the side button.
Let’s get started, volume up, volume down, then hold the side button, don’t let go
of your finger even when you see the Apple logo, when you see connect to computer screen,
that means your iPhone is now in recovery mode.
You can also try to put your iPhone into DFU mode if it couldn’t be recognized in recovery
mode.
Volume up, volume down, and hold the side button.
When the screen turns black, press and hold the volume down for 5 seconds while keep holding
the side button. Then release the side button while keep holding the volume down for another
10 seconds.
When your iPhone is recognized by 4uKey.
We can move on.
Hit download to get the latest firmware of your iPhone.
You can choose any location you like to place the firmware.
When the download is finished.
Click on start unlock.
Usually it takes about 10 minutes to remove the passcode and reset your iPhone.
The running bar reflects the removing process.
When the passcode has been removed successfully, you can see that your iPhone has been factory
reset.
Let’s check it out.
Go on to quick start your iPhone.
Here I will just skip the steps.
Okay, now you can see, we can access to the iPhone and it’s been totally factory reset
as a brand new one.
If you have another iOS device also logged in with the same Apple ID on your disabled
iPhone, you can try to reset it through iCloud.
But make sure you’ve already turn on find my on your disabled iPhone and you also know
the Apple ID and password.
What you need to do is to go to iCloud.com and sign in your Apple ID.
Then click on Find iPhone.
And click on all devices, and click on the disabled iPhone.
And choose erase iPhone.
Later, your iPhone will be factory reset.
