today I will be going through the
DiabloSport predator showing you how to
check to see if it's unlocked here I've
got two different predators one an old
version and one a new version looking
outside you can't tell really which is a
new one what's the old it's all based
upon the internal hardware so I'm going
to show you how to do to check the
status of both of them
first off I'm going to do the new
version one so I'm just going to start
booting it up here
anyway you can tell the new version is
when it boots up across the top of the
screen it's going to say what what
version it is this says predator V point
9 R 1 1 an old version would say
something like 1.02 or 2.13
all the newer ones will say 7 8 or 9 and
then a letter and a couple numbers after
that
so here's 9 our 11 that's one of the new
version ones so to see if it's unlocked
just go down to options show last two
and written it's unlocked it'll say
original backup if it says anything like
Diablo tune custom tune that means it's
locked so you just hit continue back out
of there unplug your programmer you're
gone I'm going to do one of the old
version ones see this looks a little bit
different let's say loading BIOS PD 1601
or something of that sort and you'll see
across the top 2.09 so check these ones
we're going to start out the same by
going down to options but instead of
show last two and written got an arrow
down to tool status tool is unlocked
pretty self-explanatory
that's the two point xx version
programmers the one point xx is a little
bit different but the one point X X's
are permanently married to a car so even
if you reset your vehicle back to stack
still going to be locked to the original
VIN that it was set to so I'm not going
to go through doing a 1-point xx but you
would see us by at the top of the screen
in something like 1.03 you won't point
out to something that's work
