hello everybody this Sanada welcome to
my channel we're only you have the power
to build your world in today's video
I'll be telling you how I got scammed
when I bought my iPhone 11 Pro max so if
you want to avoid being scammed make
sure you watch this video all the way
through I will show you how I got
scammed how it happened and how you can
pretty much be safe and not let this
scam happen to you all right
so not too long ago the iPhone 11 Pro
max came out and I was like I gotta have
this phone you got look at his camera
setup just look at it after I seen the
camera setup all the new specs that he
had I was like I gotta get this phone so
I was on a mission to get this phone I
looked online I looked at the stores and
it was around $1,500 so I was like man
I'm not gonna spend $1,500 on a phone
well I can take that money invested in
some real estate investing in some
stocks or whatever buy better equipment
for my youtube channel but I was like I
gotta get this phone so I ended up going
online I don't know if y'all heard of
this app it's called let go it's same
like Facebook marketplace or offer up or
stuff like it's pretty much an app where
people sell stuff so I went on there and
then I've seen this phone 11 Pro max the
navy green just the color that I wanted
the gigabytes that I wanted everything
it was like perfect came in a box
everything like everything was dead I'm
like yo dude the dude was asking 750
dollars for the phone I'm like oh that's
still a killer deal I read it paid $750
then fifteen hundred dollars at the
store so I was like $750 that's not a
bad deal at all
so I messaged the guy on the app and I
asked him if he had the phone he was
like yeah I still have it so being me I
trying to get it even a better deal so I
was like I'll give you 500 cash right
now the guy was like make it 550 and we
have a deal I don't like 550 that is an
insane deal for a $1,600 phone paying
550 I was like ah so I took the
- I went to meet the guy he showed me
the phone took it out of the box
show me the IEM of the phone like
everything checked out perfectly
the phone was clean had the pays the
charger pretty much everything like I
checked that I am you know the size that
you are online and check the I am to
make sure that the phone is not stolen
then it's not blogged and it's not
pretty much a break
so I checked all that out verify the
phone test it out make sure everything
worked
make sure the charger worked everything
everything was excellent unlike at the
time I still couldn't believe I was
getting such a great deal $550 for
iPhone 11 pro max pretty much their
retail squad was $1500 it was a done
deal so I gave the guy $550 I took the
phone he was like if you have any issues
just shoot me a message and we'll fix it
resolve everything but he was like I
guarantee you not have any problems I'm
like sweet so the whole time I'm in the
car playing with my new phone checking
it all I everything was awesome so I get
home also I'm like I still couldn't
believe I got in such a good deal on the
phone so I was like super excited I
pretty much spent like two days checking
out all the features testing out the
cameras the video like surfing the web
all that good stuff
and I was like yo it is an amazing deal
so you probably asking yourself so how
in the world did you get scam well guys
I got scammed twice yes twice I know I'm
putting this live on YouTube dude I got
scammed twice for the exact same phone
so let me tell you how it happened so
I'll probably make another video showing
you how I got scammed the second time
but let's talk about the first time I
got scammed on this actual phone that's
why it's not connected to a service all
right so after a couple days I did not
connect the service because I still had
service for a different company so what
I wanted to do will simply buy another
iPhone that way me and my wife can have
matching phones and connected with a
different service provider and get a
pretty much get an awesome deal on
service so after about two days I
messaged the guy again he was like man I
don't have any phones right now at the
moment but I know a guy out of state
that if you send the money
he will send you another iPhone 11pro
next I'm like sweet
like I did business with this guy before
I bought this phone everything was
checked out perfectly so I'm like
alright so I ordered another phone from
the dude sending the money with PayPal
and then I was expecting my other phone
to be delivered but the fourth day of
having this phone
I pretty much rechecked that I am on my
laptop and guys the phone was
blacklisted so this is pretty much a
giant iPod touch right now my 11pro max
that I paid five hundred and fifty
dollars for is a ipod touch the phone
got blacklisted now you cannot get
service on it it is pretty much a brick
and iPod touch with some cool cameras so
I tried to message the guy he completely
blocked me on the app so I couldn't
message him I couldn't get in contact
with him at all so now I'm out of $550
and I got a cool iPod touch you might be
asking yourself how in the world did it
happen and I'm about to tell you how so
the way this scam happens is very simple
it has gotten very popular over the last
couple of years simply because the
phones are getting more and more
expensive now a top phone from Apple or
Samsung it's gonna cost you over $1000
thousand dollars fifteen hundred dollars
sometimes even more so now a lot of the
service providers even Apple they're
offering payment plans on their phones
so you can go to the Apple Store you can
go to AT&T Sprint Verizon whatever all
the major carriers you can go in there
and you can get one of these phones for
about $30 a month so $30 a month will
get you this phone on credit
so the
people are making this scam work it's
simple they go to one of these carriers
that selling the iPhone and they simply
buy it or they get an upgrade where they
get this phone for $30 a month on their
payment plan so the way it works is
simple once they get the phone their
phone bill increases $30 now they have a
brand new iPhone 11 max that's about
$1,500 and they only paid $30 extra on
their phone bill to have this phone and
what do that people do they take the
phone that they just got either on an
upgrade or through a loan through one of
these providers that pay $30 a month for
the phone and then they listed online
for sale and they list it for about six
seven hundred dollars you might be
asking yourself that does not make sense
whatsoever
why would they get alone for fifteen
hundred dollars on this phone and then
pay $30 a month just to turn around and
sell it for five six seven hundred
dollars they will still have to pay on
the back end to pay the phone off so
this is how the scam works once they get
this phone they simply post it online
and sell it either through Facebook eBay
Amazon let go offer up pretty much
anywhere anywhere they can post it to
sell it and then suckers like me they
want to get a killer deal on an awesome
phone they go in there they buy these
phones and the way the person scams you
is very simple when you over there
buying the phone they show you you check
the I am you check the serial numbers
everything and everything comes out
squeaky clean there's no errors there's
no reports that the phone is blocked or
stolen or lost or none of that stuff
because the phone is still active on
that person's account so once you buy
the phone they get there are five six
hundred dollars they put that money in
their pocket and then after about a
couple days or a week or a month guess
what they do they call there
they call Verizon AT&T or t-mobile
whoever they got the phone with and they
simply report the phone as lost or
stolen so now all they have to do is pay
$200 and then we'll get another brand
new iPhone 11 probe next that's how the
scam works now that person just pocketed
$400 and then simply paid another $200
and got another phone for free and then
the person that bought the phone like me
now has a phone that's been reported
lost completely locked the IAM is
completely locked so you cannot activate
it in the United States with any carrier
so if you have a rising t-mobile AT&T
you will not be able to use the phone
with any carrier because the phone is
reported as lost now you just have a
giant iPod touch
that you cannot do nothing with sucks
doesn't it
so now I just lost five hundred and
fifty dollars on this phone but the
other guy he made five hundred and fifty
dollars and pretty much got another
phone that's exactly the same like this
from his carrier for extra two hundred
dollars so please be smart when buying
phones online do not fall for this scam
one of the easiest ways to pretty much
not fall for this scam is asked to me at
the carrier for example if you have a
rising AT&T t-mobile Sprint whoever you
got and you find the phone online that
somebody's selling tell them to meet you
at the carrier at the AT&T or at the
Verizon this way they bring the phone
and it can be transferred from their
account into your account
this way the phone will be clean and
they will not be able to report a lost
or stolen so if the person does not want
to meet at one of these locations do not
buy the phone because they're simply
gonna take your money once you leave
they're gonna call report the phone lost
or stolen they're gonna get another
brand new phone and now they're gonna
have five hundred dollars in their
pocket cash money so make sure if you
buy enough
from a person or online be safe guys do
not be a fool do not get excited for
getting a great deal make sure you're
smart make sure you do not fall for
scams like this
I got scammed twice in one week pretty
much lost $1,100 and I only got a brick
to show for it all right so you probably

these scams before these scams are on
the rise the phones are getting way more
