you
this video by Richmond today we are
working on a Chevy Kobol
vii be a 2007 model and what we're doing
today is we are removing the radio first
thing we want to do is remove the
negative battery cable from the battery
now once we do that we want to take our
panel remover and we'll start with this
little trim panel right here and take
this one move that down which so we can
get underneath it there are two Clips
underneath there you can see them right
there now over here on the right side
above the glovebox is another one same
type of clips and they sound like
they're gonna break when you take them
off but I can't worry about that now
we have to take the trim bezel off the
front of the radio next start with the
top
well I tell you how those clips do not
want to let go there are three on each
side top bottom and middle so that's
where you want to try and there they are
right there now once we remove that we
have four seven millimeter screws that
hold in the radio what I'm using here is
a nut driver with a seven millimeter
socket you don't really need a ratchet
or anything now once we get those screws
out all we have to do pull the radio up
now on the back of the radio you'll see
your antenna and your electrical
connections is the antenna now the
electrical connections on this no7 are a
little bit different than the earlier
Cobalts but pretty well the same
procedure they have a little lock that
you push right here there's one there's
the other right there
make it a little closer you can see
those electrical connections here is
what those electrical connections look
like in the back so you just squeeze
that and then pull up on him
all right like that so that's all there
is to removing a radio in a Chevy Cobalt
