so in Borderlands 2 there's a lot of
loot it's a big part of the game and the
faster that you can process all your
loot beside what it is you want to keep
what you want to sell what do you want
to equip the faster you can get back to
adventuring across Pandora so I'm making
this quick little video to show a tip
for how you can tag your inventory so
that you don't have to sit there and
evaluate everything every time that you
end up better than here right so first
of all of the old fine ammo dropped
around the place like this is a gun and
so two boxes pop up with arrows and the
arrows show you how this compares to the
weapon that you have equipped right now
I have a machine gun in advice which is
a sniper rifle you notice that the
numbers change and so normally what I do
is I keep one of each weapon type
equipped so I can just quickly cycle
through it and compare and that way you
can do an apples-to-apples you don't
really want to compare like a machine
gun to a sniper rifle because your
sniper rifles always going to have a lot
more damage at least it should so if
everything's green on the new gun and
it's a no-brainer if there's a mixture
then it depends on what works best for
you it depends on how you play so you
know this one on the ground does a lot
more damage but it has a smaller
magazine size move after we load it more
often but that you know for me that's
not that big a deal so I'll do that
so if you find it and this gun is better
and you just want to make that the gun
that you're using if you press and hold
the e and it's a long press then BAM it
becomes the new equipped weapon now it's
here it's in the first slot if I did it
the old way I just hit e not a long
press but a short press that puts it in
the inventory and then it's over here so
say I want this one to be that all you
got to do is you click the slot that you
want to occupy and then it brings up all
your weapons and you go and you find the
one that you want to put in that slot
and there you go simple of course that I
did it for the sniper rifle so
easy enough to put that back like that
now the quick trick that don't people
don't talk about a lot is over here when
you're looking at all of your stuff this
is what's in your backpack there's this
little star and this X now the star
doesn't do anything on its own but the X
if you go through this is a bunch of old
guns I picked up for this video
as you click all the X's on that now
that's all there in your inventory so
what you do is you look at your guns and
you say okay that one's not better than
what I got that's that's a shotgun so
I'll keep that one this one's not better
than this this isn't better than what I
got that's not really what better than I
got the shotgun so it does more damage
but you know again it's comparing apples
to apples so now I've been in my
inventory I clicked everything now when
I run up here to the fender and you can
do this at any vendor it's ammo or
weapons your health
notice all my X's are still there so
when I go would you think murder pull
this out munition
see at the bottom it says delete sell
trash so if I hit the Delete key
everything that had an X on it gets old
and done and now my inventory is
basically empty just it just has that
one shotgun that I wanted to keep and
that way it makes it a lot quicker so
you look at it take five seconds and you
pick it up to decide whether you want to
keep it then when you get to the vendor
just sell it all in mass and you're done
and you can get back to adventuring so
hopefully that helps you out
you later
