this is a 2016 Chevy Impala had an issue
with the battery car wouldn't start
you know didn't have time to actually go
to store so I spent the whole week with
the car having starting issues at the
end even my power steering went out I
took it to the dealer I said it was the
battery so enough was enough had to
change it the dealer wanted charged me
about three hundred and thirty four
dollars for a battery I said no way they
have better model batteries than this AC
Delco that they I just pulled out of
here for about a hundred and seventeen
dollars didn't find any videos online
whatsoever on how to actually replace
this battery and when I open this thing
up I see it looked a little complicated
so I want to make sure I did did it
correctly this cover pops off you know
this is where it looks a little
complicated compared to a standard
battery which only has the positive and
negative terminals okay so what the
first thing I did was disconnect the
positive terminal by this screw right
here which is a 10 millimeter 10
millimeter bolt also the negative also
is a 10 millimeter and not right there
then you have to actually disconnect
this nut and this nut and these cable
just pop off now that nut was a 13
millimeter 13 millimeter so pop off
these two terminals they pop up these
two nuts then down here on the side here
basically it grips onto the battery you
need maybe a screwdriver is what I used
just to the screwdriver wedge this out
and bam it pops up don't be afraid
you're not gonna break it may take a
little force to finally pop that out of
there just move it to the side remove
the battery put the other battery back
on and again just the reverse put this
group this nut back on this nut back on
and then engage both terminals clip
those with the nuts that's it you're all
done alright a little tricky I didn't
find a video so I'm hopeful somebody
find this video alright thanks a lot bye
