to this video in this one today I'm
gonna teach you exactly how you can
upsell your current Facebook advertising
clients on to social media management
clients now this is gonna be a really
good way for you to add that extra
revenue to your business and tap into
your current customers okay so now just
before we get into that though if you

i'm gonna give you three tips today that
you can implement to start up selling
your current clients now just before we
do that I want to just make one thing
very very clear and that is it is so
much easier to convert your current
customers than anybody else think about
it if somebody has already pulled out
their credit card and spent even a dog
with you it's so much easier to get them
to spend more than it is to try and
convert somebody else who doesn't know
you doesn't trust you for example okay
obviously you always want to be
expanding your code outreach and
reaching out to more leads but you can
add an extra 500
thousand dollars a month just by
upselling your current Facebook
advertising clients on to social media
management services as well and that's
what we're going to jump into today so
the first tip for you and the first
thing that I recommend you do is that
you email or phone call all of your
clients and tell them about a new
opportunity that you would like to share
with them now depending on how long
you've had that client and your level of
trust if they do trust you a lot then
most of the time they're going to get on
a phone call with you so the purpose of
that email or that quick phone call is
to set up a proper 1530 minute call to
share that opportunity with them okay
and this is in that call where you're
going to do the selling to close them on
that deal so step one super simple drop
a quick email a text a phone message a
slack message and just tell them that
you have a new opportunity that you'd
really really like to share with them
and push for a call so the second thing
you can do whenever selling social media
management services is explain the
benefit of traffic you own versus
traffic that you pay for okay so this
video is based off the fact do you
already have this client on a Facebook
advertising service so based off this
information I'm assuming they already
know the benefit of traffic you pay for
okay traffic you pay for being Facebook
ads advertising to acquire more
customers okay
but something that's a really good sell
is telling them the benefit of traffic
that you own and essentially social
media followers and growth on your
social media pages is traffic that you
own so let me just explain this concept
quickly and this is how you can explain
it to your cup to your clients alright
and bear in mind they both work
extremely well together both traffic you
pay for and traffic you were so traffic
you paid for is advertisements okay
you're paying to be on the Facebook
newsfeed on the Instagram newsfeed on
the Instagram stories of your prospects
right you're paying to be there whenever
you run Facebook
you're paying for that media space and
you're paying to be in front of them
okay that is traffic that you pay for
traffic you own is when you own that
data and you can reach them at any time
for free so this could be for example an
email list this could be social media
followers once you have that email once
you have that follower you can send out
an email anytime and you own that
traffic it's not gonna cost you a penny
so if you have a hundred thousand
Facebook followers and a hundred
thousand Instagram followers and you
make a post you don't pay a single penny
you'd expect a ascent to reach all of
those people okay and this is a way that
you can explain that to your client and
say it's extremely beneficial to run
paid advertising and get customers this
way but what's also extremely beneficial
is owning the traffic now this approach
is going to take slightly longer it's
not going to be as quick and sales
aren't just going to come in overnight
this is a longer-term play but when you
do get this right and you have 10,000
followers 20,000 followers all of which
care about your brand and know your
business and all of a sudden you release
a new product line you release a new
service you throw a new event you own
this data you can send out all your
current customers and your prospects and
reach them free of charge okay so that
is the second tip for you whenever
you're trying to sell this service
explain the traffic you own versus
traffic that you pay for method and
explain the benefit of both and
hopefully that will help you close them
on the idea of social media management
and normally depending on the size of
the business and obviously what you
think they can afford
from my experience an average social
media management service will be
somewhere between $500 to $1,000 a month
and obviously if it's like a nine figure
business you can probably charge more
than a thousand dollars a month if it's
a small company making 10 grand a month
you're probably going to struggle to
sell them on more than $500 a month from
my experience so the third and final tip
for you when it comes to the sales core
and trying to upsell them on social
media management services is
Anker in price and giving them a
discount because they're already a loyal
customer of yours ok so what you can do
is go ahead and say something along the
lines of this okay John so look
obviously I've come to you today about
this new opportunity I think it's really
really going to benefit your business
now obviously I'm just started taking on
customers for my social media management
service and if somebody was to come to
me today I would charge them a thousand
dollars per month but because you're
already a loyal customer of mine I'm
going to give you the offer today if you
move forward of only five hundred
dollars per month okay so you're doing
two things there number one they're
gonna feel special they're gonna feel
appreciated because you're giving them a
discount because they're a loyal
customer the second thing that you're
doing which is way more powerful than
that is you are anchoring price you're
telling them that you normally and your
everyday price is going to be a thousand
dollars but for today only because
you're a lower customer you can get 50%
discount and get it for only $500 that
is so powerful that you do that and you
can say anything by the way you can say
look my everyday price to it for a new
customer it's gonna be two thousand
dollars a month but I can give it for
you two today for a thousand dollars my
everyday price is gonna be $1,500 but I
can give it to you for a thousand seven
fifty six hundred whatever it may be you
can anchor that price wherever you want
and you can price however you like as
well but be sure whenever you offer this
as an upsell you give them some kind of
discount even if it is like a false
discount it doesn't really exist or you
know you make sure you anchor that price
to something that's quite a bit higher
and also something that again gives it
more perceived value think about if you
say something's worth I'm lonely gonna
charge two thousand a month and you say
you're only gonna charge them five
hundred dollars that perceived value of
that service is two thousand dollars you
pick that number you can say three
thousand you can say fifteen hundred you
can say whatever you want that you think
is again gonna give you more authority
gonna give that more perceived value but
is also quite realistic obviously don't
go and say the everyday price is ten
thousand dollars a month
obviously they know that's probably just
sales mumbo-jumbo and they're not gonna
buy it all right so be realistic but
again give it a bit of a higher price
tag their offer a discount and it's
really gonna help with the clothes the
