do you want to use the internet to get
in front of more customers my name is
Grant Cardone and I've been doing that
in this video you're gonna see my friend
Frank currents share with you some tips
on how you can use social media to get
in front of the quality customers that
are perfectly aligned with your product
in your service I hope you enjoy it when
you own an ad agency your entire life
becomes something that revolves around
making sure that your clients are always
happy and they're always getting more
money than what they're paper one of the
clients I obsess over of many is this
guy named Rob here he is now here with
my client Rob and don't mind the
consignments defined consignment buying
consignment common over Naples Naples
Florida he's an agency client he's
awesome we're getting his ads watched
100% the completion brain the half cents
on a one-minute testimonial video shot
on an iPhone advertising baby crazy so
what you're about to see is me walking a
group of people through how I built the
campaigns for Rob and the logic behind
how everything was set up and the reason
I'm sharing this with you is so that
hopefully you'll have something to model
and that you can apply this to your own
business and who knows he'll watch this
and you'll think hey I want this dude to
run my ads too he clearly knows what
he's doing
if that's the case go to Kern branding
calm but for now here's how we build
campaigns that win so we've been taking
on agency clients and I got this dude as
a client real cool guy as most of our
clients are super cool his name is Rob
he owns a consignment shop is maples
that sells a fancy furniture on
consignment which technically I don't
think it's really consignment I think
they just buy fancy furniture from
people and then they resell it but
whatever then usually all his fancy
furniture comes from like model homes
and stuff you know or no one's ever even
used it he buys it at a discount in
themselves up to the public so I take
the guy as a client and um really really
good things have happened
you know so I'm talking to him and doing
the intake call and everything like you
know tell me how businesses and it's all
going well for him and he's telling me
that up this one time he was on the news
it can be expensive but it's not we can
find some great finds here in the area
and speaking of finds I'm gonna tell you
one of my favorite places it's called
the fine consignment store and you can
see a lot of the furniture here in this
space it actually comes from the fine so
the fine is cool because it's a lot of
furniture is brand new it comes from
model homes and you get it at a fraction
of the cost
so ioud got a lot for staging homes to
sell but it's also great furniture for
someone who is wanting to have it to
live in on a daily basis he's like dude
we had one of the best days ever and so
I was like well why don't we like edit
out a little bit of that clip and use it
as an add-on the Facebook's you know so
we did a little bit of that and then we
got like a little testimonial video from
somebody that was a shot or an iPhone
now keep in mind this is about furniture
okay so like nothing exciting not like
you have to make content about furniture
so long story short I think the news
cook that we couldn't get it to work
right or something like something with
the video footage so we're like I'd to
hell with it you know we'll just use
this iPhone testimonial and this
literally a lady the shock like
vertically you know it's like hold your
phone like this and it shot vertically
and she's like yeah these guys were
awesome and in the background or some
dudes moving the sofa and she's like
yeah these guys were great and I got a
good deal on furniture etc etc then it's
a minute and six seconds long so as was
agency we're like okay who do you want
to have you know coming to the store and
all this kind of stuff and he tells us
so we do some targeting then it was
pretty much targeting geographically
around where the story is going after
those particular types of people we set
up and ad campaign that was basically
like let's show this video to those
types of people and in the ad we're like
instead of driving to a landing page or
whatever you know and trying to get
beads or something we just figured hey
let's just have them a call you know cuz
that's how the dudes sales process was
right
people call them out anyway hey you got
are so fun he's like yeah come on look
at it and they do and they either buy it
or they don't so that's not particularly
complicated so we run the ads
right yeah we start out for some clients
especially if they've never really done
a lot of social advertising we'll start
out a really small budget so we were
spending maybe like 20 bucks a day at
first for this dude and over the weekend
he text me I think was this weekend
maybe it's Thursday or something but
whatever hang on and he's like hey dude
how are the ads to go on I was like ah
let me have a look so I log in and I
look and I'll be damned
if the people are not watching 100
percent of that thing for an average of
eight point five cents that means I
think about this that means that a
targeted person who was close to his
store who lives in the zip code where
they've got some money and who meets
criteria as somebody who's interested in
buying furniture and stuff is watching a
one-minute at six second commercial in
its entirety for eight and a half cents
on average which is pretty cool really
really cool so then we're like all right
cool you know or is anyone calling if he
was like I don't know so we figure well
okay we'll set up a tracking phone
number so when anyone calls this number
will know it came from the ad notice you
want to know if your ads are working
right so we said all that stuff up
fourth and long story short as a
Saturday he's getting inbound calls like
people calling him saying hey I want
some furniture for 10 bucks which is
ridiculous no I got a text from him
yesterday
that says sales are up 125 percent the
past two days which is freaking insane
now the ad campaigns are not fully
responsible for that I don't think I
also advised the dude on some email
stuff which was like simple like hey
dude email your small little database
more when you have new stuff to sell you
know sematic crazy no but what I do know
for sure is that at least one individual
has come into the store and said yeah I
saw you on Facebook and that person
spent 20 grand all right how about that
I love it so why did the campaigns work
well man a couple reasons number one we
kept everything easy look Rob sales
process is a phone call so all we did
was create as it got people to
on the phone way simpler than trying to
build an opt-in pages or an email list
and all that kind of stuff the second
thing is the way we structured the ads
part of our strategy was just to go in
and create video commercials that don't
look like stuff you see on TV there's a
special way to do it but we basically
created video commercials that were to
be run on social media and only shown to
his perfect prospects and the third
thing is every time somebody watched one
of those ads we would then retarget them
with a classic Facebook ad that says hey
if you want to buy some furniture click
here right now all that stuff working
together make the campaign work like a
champ hey thanks so much for watching
this video and if you found it helpful
and you find yourself thinking you know
I want this person to handle my ads for
me and create my campaigns for me then
we can do just that
go to Cardone Kern calm that's Cardone
