an issue about selling soap in this
video at the end of the video we're
going to have a little bit of a giveaway

be about three secrets on how to sell
soap we get more questions about how to
sell soap than just about anything else
so the first secret I want to tell you
guys whenever we set up a table at a
booth or a fair especially with fall
coming up and all of the really cool
stuff happening that makes opportunities
for you guys the sell soap is if you can
get a customer or a potential customer
to smell a bar of soap
you're about 90% of the way there to
getting your soap soul so first thing
you do is you hand a customer what if
somebody's looking at your table and it
looks like they're interested in what
you're doing and they have some
interested in interest in handmade soap
and them Ybarra soap and you say hey
we're doing a survey on this so tell me
what you think about this soap or this
is a new soap for us tell me what you
think about this soap or do you like
this oppa and make sure it's legitimate
just keep a scorecard there right saying
okay yes or no to a particular virus
soap whenever I would do this I would
always hand out one of my better sellers
okay so if there was an immediate
connection with that customer they put
that up too they're nosy oh I really
like that you have a sale it's that
simple it's that easy it gets a
conversation going and then you can talk
about the rest of your products so
handing somebody who's already slowing
down walking guys your table a bar of
soap is a great way to get yourself a
sale that's number one okay number two
secret on how to sell soap is everybody
at the ferry there's going to be other
soap sellers there everybody there's
going to have a lavender and oat no milk
and honey okay that's just a given so
what you need you have to differentiate
yourself from everybody else one of the
ways to differentiate yourself is to
have unique fragrances let me tell you
about my wakame so well Connie is the
Japanese word for seaweed this has been
our bestseller for the last year I
cannot keep what commies soap in
inventory here it is flying out of here
so fast if you're the only person at
your particular fair that hands wakame
soap you're the winner you're the winner
because you have something not everybody
else has okay so this is a type of so
that your hand to a customer if they say
oh my lord that's really amazing so I
gotta have some of that alright from
then on whenever somebody is thinking
hey I need some soap that's different or
I need a what commie bar is soap where
are they going to go they can't go to
your neighbor over here they can't go to
the store down the street the only place
they can get that amazing what commie
soap is to call you alright so right
there on your label somewhere you should
have some contact information so they
can make that second so that you can
make that sale and they can call you and
they can reorder the soap okay
so that's that's their second secret for
selling soap make sure make sure that
you have something unique and if you go
on it's spelled w a.k.a m e on the so
close page at the soap guy calm all
right the third way that you can sell
some soap is to make sure that you have
a blog or some place online where people
can find you alright
I know a lot of people say oh that's too
technical that's a little bit hard but
there's a lot of ready-made situations
including bloggers that are really easy
to set up okay that you can put up some
information about yourself your family
your little business all of those types
of things and you can put some contact
information in that blog and the other
thing you can put in the blog make sure
there's an easy place for them to see
and find that particular soap like
wakame soap or whatever you happen to
call it i have the wakame soap is so
popular I actually have some people
calling it all different types of names
there was one one lady in Canada calling
it Northwood soap and somebody else was
calling it something else I think it was
you know desert nectar so for something
you can remarket the soap however you
want so that that soap is potato
to just you in just your business but
remember that number one key is having
something different and having something
that people when they put it up to their
nose that they really really love okay
so there's three secrets we're going to
