hey guys what is going on welcome back
to my Robin Hood portfolio you can see
here I have my stash in vest app open
and I thought it'd be kind of fun to
talk about day trading and stash invest
a lot of you guys have been asking if
the a trading is possible on stash
invest and a lot of this has to do
because of discussions about the Robin
Hood application knowing that with
portfolios less than twenty five
thousand dollars you can only do three
day trades in any five day trading
period essentially pattern day trading
rules Robin Hood does not want you to be
labeled as a pattern day trader if you
are you simply can't do any more day
trades so it limits you automatically to
three day trades in any five day trading
period so a lot of you guys have been
asking well if I can't do that on Robin
Hood can I simply put my money into
stash invest into a little day trading
and unfortunately you cannot on stash
invest there's only two different
windows that you can actually do any
buying or selling which I don't think a
lot of investors understand
so the first window 9:45 to 10:00 a.m.
are essentially the only times that you
can buy and sell on stash FS so you can
put an order is at any time but the
trades will only be executed between
9:45 and 10:00 a.m. in the morning for
window one and window to 3:30 p.m. to
3:45 p.m. so to kind of break that down
if any order is placed after 3:30 p.m.
up until trading opens actually up until
a 9:45 a.m. all in the day of trading
those orders will be executed 9:45 a.m.
to 10:00 a.m. and then anything after
that will essentially be in window 2 so
any orders from 90 45 a.m. till 3:30
p.m. will fall into the second trading
window of 3:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and
then any orders after 3:30 p.m. again
until that next trading day at 9:45 a.m.
will be done in window on so there's
only two district discrete windows that
trading occurs 9:45 to 10:00 a.m. and
then 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. otherwise orders
are simply queued and are waiting to be
executed so day trading is virtually
impossible on staff invest and the other
big key component is that day trading is
typically done with
penny stocks and stash confessed as you
guys know it's very very limited there's
only a few different ETFs and one stock
that you can buy on stash invest so the
potential for doing day trading
unfortunately is a zero on stash invest
I hope that cleared things up a bit if
you do you want to do some day trading
Robin Hood is the way to go
unfortunately if you have less than
$25,000 you're going to be limited to
three trades in a five day training
period but once you get over twenty-five
thousand dollars and you can start doing
a lot more trading with regards to your
day trading so just wanting to quick
talk about stash invest and day trading
unfortunately it's not available and
hopefully this gives you a little bit
more insight as well into how trading
takes place on stash investors only to
Windows 9:45 to 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 at
3:45 p.m. so if any of the ETFs or the
one stock Berkshire Hathaway Class B
stock if any of those are moving you
really can't jump in and take advantage
of that there's only two different
trading windows so yeah I just want to
talk a bit about stash invest and day
trading let me know if you guys like
stash invest I have mixed feelings I
think it's great for a new investors to
kind of experiment with the market with
a little bit of funds you can buy
fractional shares otherwise I would just
open up a Robin Hood account and get
access to penny stocks ETFs you know
thousands of different stocks blue-chip
stocks everything that you can get here
on stash invest with the availability
for a lot more stock so new investors
with limited capital stash invest is
great Robin Hood's better you can do
some day trading again it's a limited if
you have less than $25,000 but once you
get $25,000 you can trade as much as you
want so yeah I just want to talk about
stash invest and day trading kind of
that all in the video as always if you
