okay so i am going to go and grab all of
the books that i'd like to sell from the
living room and bring them into my room

after joining booktube i have
accumulated a lot of books and as much
as i love that and i want to get more
books i don't really have space for it
anymore and although i would love to
continue to just donate all of the books
that i'm not as interested in i can't
afford that as you can see here i kind
of have a problem so i thought it would
be a good idea to look into some options
where i can try and sell some of the
books that i just don't want to keep on
my shelves now the first thing i
actually looked into was amazon and so i
went through the whole entire process
set it all up put up my first book sold
it for eight dollars and i only got 85
cents it was just a terrible experience
so i figured you know what i'd rather
have a more personal way to do this then
i did find pango books which was a lot
more successful so i figured i would try
and add some more books and see if we
can make some more sales some of these
will probably get donated but i figured
at least some of the nicer hardback
books let's grab the phone and the books
and start adding some of these to my
little website let's go ahead and clear
out the little area that i could use as
a backdrop to photograph the books for
the listings

once you take the photo it prompts you
to fill in some information things like
the type in this case it's fiction genre
then the format this one's a hard cover
it is in like new condition i'm just
gonna go here through the hashtags and
highlight some of the options they
already have and then the retail price
i'm just gonna look here on the back and
then to figure out my price i'm gonna
just search for the book that i'm trying
to put in i don't think this is super
popular so i'm just gonna put it in for
8.50 and then i'll list it now i have
three books and i'm just gonna go ahead
and do this with as many as i can and
we'll see how it goes

okay off to a good start i've got my
first three books here but i should
probably pick a couple of specific ones
here so that i can be a little more
strategic and which ones i start off
with now since i don't think i'm gonna
be able to go through all of these today
i've picked out a stack for me to add
and then hopefully we can follow up the
next couple of days to see if i've sold
anything

okay it's a couple days later and i've
gotten a bunch of follows and wish list
things for all of the books that i've
added but no sales yet so i'm thinking
it might be a good idea to lower some of
the prices now everything that i
currently have in here is under 10
but they also have to pay for shipping
so
if i lower it some we might be able to
get some sales i'm pretty much knocking
two dollars off of the price of
everything the whole point of this isn't
for me to make a ton of money it's just
to make some
so i guess i will come back a little bit
later and let you know if that helped
okay so these are the books that i've
added and these are the books that i
still need to add i also have some over
here that i'm planning on adding okay so
i just saw a notification that we made a
sale congrats okay so let us grab the
books that's sold since you've been gone

everything i'm talking about this was

so here are the six books that i sold in
my second sale on pango books this
almost seems like it should be an ad for
pango books should i like reach out to
them and be like hey guys uh
sponsor no this is not sponsored but so
far so good maybe we can make another
sale before the end of this video
fingers crossed okay since lowering the
prices we ended up making two sales i
haven't added any more books to the shop
i thought instead i would show you the
books that sold one order was pretty
straightforward someone ended up
ordering the copy of i'm thinking of
ending things i ended up sliding in a
bookmark and my business card okay yeah
i think i might do a thanks for
purchasing thank you no so i went ahead
and wrote a little novel that's not
going to work uh for the long run but oh
well i'm figuring things out but i'm
just gonna stick it in here right next
to the bookmark and my business card so
that they know that that wasn't me
leaving it in there by mistake and then
i'm just gonna slide this into my bubble
mailer obviously i'm not gonna show you
the printed label
i can do one of my a gift for you not
sure where my shop freebie print is
right now so i'm just gonna put in this
postcard probably shouldn't be doing
this much when i'm not making a ton of
profit off of this but i don't know
okay so i should probably put this one
in first oh you know what might make a
good thumbnail is me holding all of
these up burger look like i'm making a
bunch of money
hold the rest so it looks like i have
more 20s i don't have a lot of cash
give me a break i wonder how many people
actually do this to try and look like
they're balling this is a this is a
thumbnail all right right get that money
honey i'm making 15 off of this let's be
honest
this is not a video about making bank i
mean it gets the point across though
because it does add up right you're more
patient than me you could probably sell
some of them for more than i am so you
could be getting that money honey
now it's time to macgyver this is that
the right way of saying that we are
going to make our own makeshift thing
for this i have two big mailers what i'm
gonna do is i'm gonna put three books in
each mailer and then i'm going to
tape them together so if i tape it like
this and now for this one i want it to
be a little bit tight so that we don't
risk the openings being a problem the
benefit of me doing it this way is
there's not going to be a delay because
i'm just going to drop these off
tomorrow
at a post box

also don't know how much money i'm
wasting doing this
i'm just gonna do an extra round to make
sure that's nice and secure okay we did
it we ended up making multiple sales
