which is in 2023 and will be in france
even with a global pandemic tournament
organizers have moved ahead with all
their plans and in recent weeks we've
had all the information started to be
released
so in today's video i'm going to be
going over all the fixtures all the
pools
all the information you need about the
venues as well as ticket information

so when is france 2023 well there's kind
of a big clue in the name yes it's in
2023
the tournament will get started with the
first game being on friday the 8th of
september
that game will be france versus new
zealand and then the final game of the
tournament obviously the world cup final
will be the 28th of october so france
2023 is going to be staged in
nine cities across france they are as
follows
in paris you've got stad de france stead
de france is the national stadium of
france it's located just north of paris
the stadium was built as the main venue
for the 1998 football world cup and has
a capacity of just over 80 thousand
in lille the rugby world cup matches we
played at the stad pmre
it has a capacity of 50 000 seats and
was opened in 2012.
the grupalma stadium also known as park
olympic leones
was built in 2016 in time for the euro
2016 tournament
and has a capacity of just over 59 000
seats
stad fellow drone in marseille was built
for the 1938 world cup
the stadium has a capacity of 67 000
seats and is located a short distance
from the old port of marseille
and city centre in nonce the stadium was
built in 1984 for the european
championships and has a capacity of
seven just under hundred the stadium is
located in the north of the city
approximately
five kilometers from non city centre
nice the allianz riviera stadium was
built in 2013 and has a capacity of just
over 35
500 the stadium is located 10 kilometers
from nice city center
toulouse the stadium the toulouse was
open in 1938 and has a capacity of just
under 35
500 the stadium is located in central
toulouse
on an island situated on the river
garonne the final two stadiums then
bordeaux the stad de bordeaux was built
in 2015 and has a capacity of just over
42 000 seats the stadium was built as
one of the host venues for the euro 2016
championship and finally then the stad

in saint etienne was built in 1931 and
has a capacity of 41
500 the stadium is located to the north
of the city
only two kilometers from the city centre
at the end of last year the draw for the
rugby world cup took
place now it threw some interesting
pulls so let's have a look at them
in paul a new zealand will play france
italy america's one
and africa one the pick of the fixtures
in paul a is certainly going to be home
nation france hosting new zealand for
the tournament opener
in paul b south africa ireland scotland
asia pacific 1 and europe 2. in paul b
south africa will have to be wary when
they come up against scotland and
ireland
but you would be expecting the previous
champions to make it through
paul c wales australia fiji europe one
and final qualifier winner there is a
sense of deja vu in palsy
in which wales australia and fiji have
been drawn together for the third
successive rugby world cup paul d
england japan
argentina oceana one and america's two
england will play japan for the first
time at a rugby world cup
since the first tournament in 1987 and
will have to be
very wary of the argentinian threat that
they pose

and you bought the england pack you
would go to every single england pool
game
if your team do well in the tournament
and they qualify for the quarterfinals
you will
also get a quarterfinal ticket should
your team be successful
should the team not make it to the
quarterfinals you will receive a full
refund there are 12 my team packs
available for the qualified teams
the city pack includes either three or
all pool matches in each of the nine
host cities
in the three matches city pack fans will
be able to select two matches of their
choice
while a third game will come standard
with every pack
for the city pack rugby fans will be
able to attend all pool matches in the
host city of their choice
except saint denis which is the stud to
france as the opening game is not
included in that pack
these packs will be available until
september 2022
subject to availability time at which
individual match tickets will be
released purchase tickets will be
downloadable
a few weeks prior to the tournament
starting an official resale platform is
going to be launched in 2022 so if you
are a ticket holder or if you're looking
to pick up tickets from other people
you will be able to buy tickets on an
official platform from 2022
