hey everyone this is grace from complain
and today i'm going to show you how to
make
any video sound into your alarm or
ringtone
as you can see i'm going into this alarm
and this is the sound i'm using these
are like custom sounds that i made
so keep watching and i'll go over how to
do that you won't need a computer
all you need to use is your phone so the
first step
is find your video now you can either
use a video file
or a video that's already on the
internet so i'm going to do this
with as an example with a tick tock
video and i also just wanted to point
out that if you're looking for a
specific sound
that is hard to find on tiktok an easy
place to go
is this account called transcribed
sounds they have
just a ton of the popular sounds on
tiktok that are transcribed so you can
find them easily in search
this is a sound i want to use
and just copy the link to this video
then head to the kapwing convert tool so
this converts videos to
mp3 files and you can just find it by
clicking the first link in the
description below
so you can either upload your file if
you have it saved to your device or you
can paste the url and i'm going to do
that with this tic talk video
so just paste it right in there after a
few seconds
there should be these options here so
you can see the videos down there
and we want an mp3 file so just click
mp3
and then click create you can even trim
the video if you want
a few moments your video should be done
your sound is there
to save it to your device click download
and then download again
and it first saves to your files so in
that top icon you can click it
and this is the sound
now because it's in your files you need
to transfer it to
your ringtones and alarm sounds so to do
that we need to go to garageband
so this is an app that you should have
automatically on your iphone
click garageband or search for it when
you get here you can just click the plus
to make a new project
and click the audio recorder
then click the this little icon up here
and that brings us into the project area
so
you can just click this looping icon and
then hit
files go to browse items from the files
app
and then all the files that you saved
should be here look for the one that you
saved
today so this is the one i saved today
and click that
and it'll take a second to load into
this little area
but eventually it'll appear and then
just hold down
and drag it into the project
so that's the sound i want to use and
you'll notice that it only has eight
bars
so the maximum amount of time you can
have for a ringtone or an alarm is 30
seconds
so you want to make sure that it's the
maximum go to
this plus icon in the very corner here
and then here you'll be able to say
section a increase this to
30. awesome so now you have 30 seconds
to play around with you can zoom in
and then if you want to split or trim it
you can click that
and then click the ends of the bar here
to trim it down
you can also copy this bar and paste it
all along the rest of the 30 seconds
so that you have a full 30 second alarm
so i have copy and pasted
the track and it goes all the way to 30
seconds now
when you're ready to save this as your
ringtone or alarm you can click
the down arrow and go to my songs and
this is where
all your projects are so i've made some
other tic toc sound alarms but
the most recent one i made is this one
so hold it down
and then you'll have these options you
can rename it first to
make it more recognizable or just click
share
and then choose ringtone and if it says
your length needs to be adjusted
it's probably fine probably just a
little bit over 30 seconds
and it'll cut it accordingly so just
click continue
and then you can change the name and
then click export
and now it's exporting as the ringtone
and in a second here we'll be able to
use it as our alarm in addition to a
ringtone
so just hit ok and then we're going to
leave garageband
and head back to your alarm so i'm going
to go to my alarm
and if you go to alarm here you should
be
able to edit and then click the alarm
you want to use
go to sound and now the sound you just
made should show up under ringtones so
the one i just made was my song too
i didn't rename it and
you can hear that this is the sound i
used
um i made some other ones and then all
in the future all the
sounds you use in this process will show
up there as well
you can just hit save to use it as your
ringtone you can go to settings
go to sounds and haptics and then down
here you'll see
ringtone click that and these are the
ones up here that we just made so this
is the one we just had
