How to sell pubg skins for real money

hey what's going on guys welcome back to
the channel today's video i thought it'd
be really fun for us to break down the
community store on the steam marketplace
lately i've had a lot of comments about
people asking me what are the
differences between some of the
different skin types and
if and when we can sell the skins that
we win in the pgs or the pcs4 pick em
challenge etc
so let's go over some of the basic stuff
today and see if i can't give you guys a
better understanding of that
now first thing we need to do is head
over to the store we go to view more
items and then here just click on
any any weapon any item at all and
whenever you click on it you'll see in
the bottom
it goes to uh three different options
add bonus or gift card
community market or creator appreciation
program now before we click on community
market to pull up the steam menu i just
want to show you something real quick
it's a little tip to know when you can
and can't sell items
so if you go over to customize and you
click on any of these items here
you'll see this little uh this little
cancel mark and it says non-marketable
and it's kind of listed on most of the
items and bottom on the bottom left
those items you cannot sell in the steam
marketplace the only items that you can
sell
are ones that don't have that little uh
cancel sign on it's like this one this
pgc
2019 goggles these are marketable
meaning you can
list them for sale or buy them from the
steam marketplace
all right if you go back to community
market it'll pull up your steam menu now
here it's going to automatically filter
in for playerunknown's battleground so
all the items that
are assigned to that game so these are
things that you can buy and sell
now if you just start scrolling down
you'll see all the items currently
listed for sale
and what their prices start at and what
this means is starting price is that if
you click on it here
this means that you know one seller
might have it for
2154 but if someone buys this before you
get your purchase
the next seller's price is 21.73 so you
can make your own price for it
this particular seller is selling theirs
for 21.90 but they have two of them so
you could buy two of them at that same
price
if that makes sense at the same time you
can
sell your different item because these
are gonna be
the different requests that people to
have to buy the skin
so they've put in a request within the
steam marketplace that they're looking
for
the gold plate akm skin and they're
willing to pay
20.60 or lower and so if any of the
items get posted at twenty dollars and
sixty cents or lower
their buy request will automatically be
filled and your
sell request will automatically be
filled you can see that there was one
item that just disappeared
and now it's 2173 is the cheapest akm
that's available
so from here you can click buy and then
actually purchase one of these
or you could click sell and it brings up
your inventory
now these are all the items that you
have that you can
sell so here you can see i have what
four pages of items
and they range from different crates to
clothing sets to weapon skins
all right so if we click on an example
let's say the the trifecta
micro uzi now this is a kind of funny
one because i just won this one and i
say one in quotes
in the uh contraband loot crate hideout
system i opened up one of the contraband
crates and i got the trifecta
micro uzi so now i can choose to sell
this item if i want
and it's starting sale prices 36 cents
wow then it says the volume how many
have been sold in the past 24 hours
447 units so they're actually selling
pretty quickly
so if i wanted to sell this i could list
it
i could say how much do i want to make
on on the uzi and i can put in anything
i can put 500 and it'll say the buyer
will pay
575 because there's fees involved
obviously it won't sell at 500
but if i said i'll sell it for 15 cents
the buyer would pay 15 cents and since
we know that it says that they're
starting sales at 36 cents it would
likely sell
pretty quickly and you can do that same
thing for other items like this car 98
will sell for roughly six dollars mini
14 is roughly six dollars
roughly six dollars for the g36 and et
cetera so
you get the idea you can click on them
and it'll tell you
uh roughly what the price is in the
marketplace
based on what people are paying now the
interesting thing about the marketplace
is that this does change depending on
the
the demand for the items so at one point
pubg decided to discontinue one of the
uh the face masks
and the community steam price for those
face masks
skyrocketed one item in particular i
keep going back
to is if i go back let's see how the
heck do i get back the back button up
here
so again here's all the items that are
listed in the marketplace
and you could just scroll through these
individually or you can
you can filter it down so you could say
i want to look at only
m416s please hit search
and then now you're going to get all of
the m416s that are available the
different skins
and their price and also just a little
side note don't pay attention to this
that says
unique in front of it it means
absolutely nothing it's just a different
wording
on the item there's nothing different
between these skins there's no reason
why you should pay 764 instead of 627
for these items so do not be tricked by
that that's just like a
pub g slash steam communication issue
with the data
there's nothing unique about it it's the
exact same skin
as that one there okay so the one i was
thinking of was
i've always loved the uh the battle stat
akm so if i just go to battle stat it'll
pull up
all of the battle stat weapons that are
available in the steam market place and
you can see there's
only two of them there's only two battle
stat skins
and here you have the same issue one
says the traditional
battle stat and it's listed to be
purchased at 144
the cheapest one then they have this
unique quote unquote unique one
that says 179 there's only two people
selling 179.
again there's no difference there's no
reason why you would pay the higher
price for this one
over this one they're the exact same
skin end game they both track your
your kills but i just thought that was
interesting because i remember
about a year and a half to two years ago
this skin was only selling for fifty
dollars
and now it's a hundred and forty five
dollars so you can see that once they
discontinue certain items the price of
those can go up and down
now what's also kind of unfortunate to
point out here about the battle stat
is if you watch my previous video i just
made a video
on the battle stat exchange item that
you can use to transfer your kills
from one battle stat skin to another
well the problem i have is i don't have
any duplicate battle stat skins so if i
go to
buy another battle set skin i can't
there's there's literally no other
options only there's two aks
so that's unfortunate but uh anyway so i
hope this uh breakdown makes sense for
you guys and helps you
better understand the steam marketplace
how to buy how to sell
and what is available and what is not
available to be put on there
so if you have a bunch of extra skins
and you're just looking to get rid of
even if they're relatively inexpensive
my recommendation is to put them up here
and when you list them
click on one of the other items that are
being listed to see what they're selling
for
and you can see that there's a 5 000
request
to buy it at 20.60 or lower
so all of these skins are not going to
auto sell here these
may sit here for days weeks or months if
you're looking to make a quick buck
you just go ahead and list your item and
list it for a price
lower than this like if you list it
and fifty cents this person will
automatically have a buy order ready to
purchase your item at twenty dollars and
fifty cents
excluding the fees of course so keep
that in mind all right so there you go i
