what's up y'all josh luck here and in
today's video i'm going to show you how
to integrate your facebook page into
your etsy store so they can work hand in
hand
but before i do that my name is wala
moose i post twice a week with videos
regarding digital business so if you're
interested in that please subscribe i
would love to have you along for the
ride
but without further ado let's get
started so integrating your etsy store
into your facebook page is a great way
to drive your facebook traffic to your
etsy store and hopefully get more sales
and there's actually a way to add your
etsy listings to your facebook page so
you can have like a facebook shop
and so when people click on that on your
facebook page it'll take them directly
to your etsy listing
and i'm sure you can see how that would
be beneficial so let's jump in here to
facebook and i'll show you how to set
that up
alright so a long time ago i made a
facebook page for my etsy store waypoint
printables it's inactive because i no
longer use it i just simply don't have
time
but for a lot of you facebook is a great
source of traffic for your etsy store
and so it makes sense to add your
listings to your page so in this video
i'm going to break down a few things
so all you need to do to follow along is
have your facebook page open
and your etsy store open so the first
thing we need to do is add a button to
the top of your facebook page
and if you're really active on facebook
i'm sure you've already done this but if
not i'm going to show you how to do that
real quick
so up here where it says add a button
just click on that and then scroll to
the very bottom where it says shop now
and then this will have a button that
says shop now at the top of your page
and so all you need to do is go back to
your etsy page
copy do command c or right click copy
the url and go over here and paste it
with command v
or just right click paste and then save
and then now you notice whenever someone
lands on your page there will be a
button that says shop now that will
typically
take you directly to your etsy page but
you can go a step further and actually
add listings to your page which is what
the main focus of this video is going to
be
so after you add a shop now button you
should have a new menu over here that
populated called manage shop
and so if we click on that in the left
hand side we can actually it takes you
through the steps of how to
set up your shop in facebook so we're
just going to go ahead and start the
shop setup
and it's just going to ask you a few
questions about your inventory prices
yadda yadda okay so checkout method
we want people to check out on etsy so
essentially what it's going to do is
once they click on your listing on
facebook it'll take you to their etsy
checkout so
check out on another website and hit
next and then you're going to set up a
business account and if you don't have a
business email for your shop
just use the email associated with your
etsy login or you can create a gmail
like i did
all right so i got my waypoint
printables at gmail.com and we're going
to go next
and then here we're going to name a
catalog so whatever your store deals
with or whatever
products are so i'm going to do
printables because i sell printables in
my shop
and then check the terms and conditions
after you read them of course
and then next and then what we're going
to do is you have to check this box
for the agreement for the merchant
agreement and then submit your shop for
review
and then after you do that it'll prompt
you to change your button which we
already did but if you didn't already
change now and then i'll say maybe later
okay so while that's pending you can
actually add your products and so we're
going to do that
and unfortunately you have to do it
manually there's no easy way to
integrate
from your etsy store to facebook so if
you have 100 products
just maybe choose your top products to
get started with and we can do this
so add products all right so now it'll
take you to the business.facebook.com
url
so it's a bit more in-depth and then all
we need to do
is it'll say welcome to your catalog we
have zero items because we're just
getting started
and then over here we can add an item so
let's add just one item just to get
started
and you'll notice it's kind of similar
to the etsy listing so title description
website link
and luckily with your etsy listings you
already have all this information filled
out
so we're gonna go to one of our listings
on etsy and on
etsy the titles can get pretty crazy
with the keywords
so maybe change it up a little for
facebook so i'm just gonna do
emergency binder printable take this
first part
and that'll be my title on facebook
and then your description same thing
just go to whatever description you have
oh where's the c-more button there it is
okay
okay so i'm going to highlight all of
this
and then go back to the description just
paste so easy
enough all the information is already
filled out so this is actually really
easy to do
and then website link all you need to do
is grab the url
from your listing not your full page the
actual listing you're doing
go back here paste that and so when
someone
essentially clicks buy now on facebook
it'll take them to your etsy listing
okay so price uh just same thing
whatever you have on etsy
15.99 this item's on sale i'm not having
a sale right now
uh category you can add categories let's
see if they have printables
i doubt they would on facebook let's
just do other okay
and then i was going so fast i forgot to
mention up top dragon file or drag and
drop
images from your etsy store so one
really easy way to do this
is just grab the image from etsy hold
and drag it onto your desktop
and you can't see it because out of my
capture window but you can actually save
this to your desktop
and then all you need to do is drag it
back
as you can see the little thumbnail over
here drag it back and drop it right here
and it's that's probably the easiest way
to transfer images from one to the other
and then back to the bottom and you can
add it more information you can add more
images
but i'm going to finish for now oop i
forgot the condition
it's new of course and then now we're
done
we're going to close it and there we go
okay so
what we're going to do is after you do
this and after you add all your items
these will
be in review from facebook it's usually
pretty quick and unless you don't have
anything
profanity or anything super appropriate
most things get approved
um but it may be like 24 hours before
they're actually active on facebook
but let's go back and see how this looks
alright so back on your page go to
manage shop and then now you'll notice
a preview shop or add more products
which will take you back to where we
just came from so
preview shop mine should be empty yeah
okay so it's still pending so
nothing's showing up but once it is
approved your listings will populate
it will have little buy now button and
when you click on it it will take you to
etsy which will hopefully drive your
sales
through the roof so this is like super
beneficial if you have a large
uh facebook following and you want to
bring some of that traffic to etsy but i
hope this video helped if you have any
questions
i know mine's not approved yet so it's
kind of hard to see it in context
