pretty much in the uk doing the online
arbitrage business model but also in
addition to that i've recently started
the usa as well and obviously i share my

me what are we going to go through today
so first things first number one i'm
going to go through what is amazon
global selling number two i'm going to
go through how global selling works
number three i'm going to talk about how
to sign up to the new amazon global
selling program and finally number four
i'm going to share my personal thoughts
on this whole global 7 program let's get
started so first things first number one
what is the new amazon global selling
program well quite simply the new amazon
global selling program my god that's
like a mouthful is in amazon is very
simple now quite simply the way it works
amazon is just gonna buy your products
and then it's going to sell them
internationally or ship them to their
customers around the globe quite simply
you will become the supplier of a
product which amazon buys from you and
then ships to their customers around the
globe now the one thing which i will say
is there are different ways to sell your
products on the amazon marketplaces when
we're talking about globally across
different marketplaces and to help you
understand to know more about how that
works let's differentiate the new global
selling program from amazon from the
other way of selling internationally
which is through say build international
listings now in the new global selling
program you don't need to use any tools
or create any new listings amazon will
simply list your products on other
marketplaces for you and then when
they've sold them they're going to buy
that product from you and then ship it
internationally to the customer who
bought it from them in other
marketplaces now on the other hand you
have what's known as build international
listings this is where you will create
your listings you say in your home
marketplace and then what you're going
to do is create another listing in a
international marketplace like another
marketplace and obviously when someone
buys the international one you are then
going to be responsible for shipping it
from your home marketplace to that
customer in the international
marketplace so to put it simply the
difference between the two programs is
one the amazon global selling program is
the case that amazon will list and buy
the list the product internationally for
you they will buy it from you when
they've sold it and ship it to the
customer the other one build
international listings or manage
international listings is where you are
the seller of the product and you are
responsible for shipping it to the
customer and obviously dealing with all
that process yourself quick question for
you guys are you looking to grow your

so this leads me nicely on to chapter
number two how does the new global
selling program work well first of all
as i said before amazon will you say
list your products internationally uh
and another marketplace and then when
they sell them they will then buy the
product off you based on whatever price
that you're selling at in your home
marketplace and at this point and you
know amazon is then going to ship that
product through its fulfillment network
through to the customer in the other
marketplace when they do sell it or
should say when amazon buys the product
what you're going to see is that amazon
is your customer and obviously they are
buying from you and they obviously
arrange the cross-border delivery now to
put it long story short what does this
mean amazon is the seller of the product
in the international marketplace
but they have bought the product from
you
so you're going to be paid the price
you're advertising at in to say on
amazon's marketplace then amazon will
sell it at whatever price they want to
internationally on the other listings
and for you it's just going to look like
the customer has bought it locally but
the customer is amazon now as part of
the program your products you say can be
sold globally across all of amazon's
global stores you know from uk eu and
even usa for example now the one thing
which will add to this and we see in our
business as well is that you say every
month the only thing you need to really
take note of is every month you're going
to basically receive an email from
amazon automated update which basically
just gives you the bat invoices and
credit notes against items that were
purchased and returns through this
program i.e it's where amazon is the
customer not a general every day you and
me for you again top tip obviously
you're responsible for keeping records
of that um should say for those amazon
invoices and obviously for filing any
relevant you know tax returns you know
it's exactly the same as what you do for
if it was a normal customer so because
amazon is buying it within your
marketplace it won't have any difference
it's just your customer is different now
what i will do is i'll drop an overlay
around here of that sample email and
also you can see what that looks like to
show you what that looks like when we
get that email from amazon and i'll see
the invoice now if i give you a really
good example of you say this global
selling program in action on amazon how
does it work well quite simply i'm a uk
amazon seller and i'll see registered
vat within uk what does it mean amazon
will then purchase the product from me
at my offer price on the amazon uk
marketplace and then it will sell that
then you'll buy it from me and then it
will ship it and sell it to the customer
within say the eu now the sale is
actually for me happening at my domestic
purchase price on amazon uk and the
buyer's name on the invoice will be
amazon and the invoice will reference
you say by that number and obviously
amazon that number etcetera etcetera so
quite simple amazon does it all and for
you there's no worry about international
vat initial sales amazon deals with that
because you have sold it to amazon and
amazon deals with the rest simple right
okay so and today i'm talking about
building international listings selling
internationally and you know the one
thing that we're seeing is that to be
able to take advantage of this you
pretty much have to have your stock in
amazon warehouses doing fba now quite
simply buying stock selling stock is a
hard game when you're sourcing for new
products and if you are struggling or
maybe time is the most valuable asset
and you don't have enough time do check

the online or should you say through

this leads me nicely onto chapter number
three how to sign up to the new amazon
global selling program well quite simply
according to amazon eligible sellers for
the new global selling program are
automatically enrolled and if you want
to check you are enrolled do go to
should we say i think it's seller
central settings choose fulfillment by
amazon then look for allow amazon to buy
my products to sell globally now if this
option is enabled your account is
automatically enrolled what i will
quickly do is jump on my computer and
just show you that in action so let's do
it now so here we are instead of central
so if you come up to settings and then
go to fulfillment by amazon it's pretty
much the same thing so it's filmed by
amazon and what you're looking to do is
scroll down until you're looking for
here we go allow amazon to buy my
products
listed on the uk enabling your products
and lists on the uk store you can check
the enrollment center for other stores
in the edit button so quite simply this
is a allow amazon to buy my products to
sell globally that is it by default that
is on obviously you can turn it off
manually if you want to okay so let's
move on to chapter four my personal
thoughts well look there are lots of
questions i've had after learning about
this new global selling program you know
such as are there any additional fees
well quite simply according to amazon
and i researched this as well there are
no additional fees at this time you pay
the same fees as you would today if it
was the same item fulfilled domestically
under the fba program now this means
there are no additional fees you're
going to be charged as part of this
however charges which you say changes
may occur since amazon stated at this
time so just be aware of that now amazon
pays the duties and taxes to the country
wherever the products are being shipped
to because hey it's their product now
now you as your seller account will only
show a local transaction you made with
amazon and obviously you only have to
deal with the taxes locally where your
seller central account is located i
should say if ammon if my amazon
business is located in the uk and amazon
purchased a product and resold my
product in germany to a customer there
amazon will shoulder the cost of say any
transactions or any um shipping fees
over to germany but for me since amazon
brought my product from me in the uk i'm
only going to have to shoulder the tax
so that part of it was in the uk itself
now one question i really did think
about is what happens if there is a
customer return well according to amazon
your experience should be no different
to a domestic return or a local customer
return items in a saleable condition
will be turned to your domestic
inventory pool
and available for reset now they said
credit notes will be issued against if
you say returned items and for more
information do check out the fba
customer return policy so pretty much is
exactly the same now especially one
question to think about is like they
will also handle returns like a normal
customer term i i'm not going to go into
detail this right now but do check out
the video up here about how amazon
handles customer returns that's just
going to help you understand that
process it's just like a domestic
purchase no change there at all now
another question i kind of thought about
is can i back out or stop the new global
selling program well yeah according to
amazon and obviously we showed before
you can opt out anytime by going to fba
settings instead of central and
disabling the allow amazon to buy
my products to sell globally now you
have to do i think that by country for
example so you've got to go into each
country and change the fba settings
depending on where you're listing but
that's it pretty much now you can also
see to say amazon's purchases from
us you know for this on the manage
orders page so what will happen is
amazon will appear as the customer name
on the orders which basically means that
it's purchases from you to be resold
through the program i love it how amazon
are doing like arbitrage with through us
amazing now if you ask me will i allow
amazon to sell my products globally
short answer hell yeah why because quite
simply it's just more revenue if amazon
want to buy and sell somewhere else they
want to do arbitrage off me fantastic i
just think that's amazing we do our
charge on to amazon and then amazon
arbitrage from us into other
marketplaces smart smart man yeah no
problem there at all now if you want to

i will say is the global selling program
is really good opportunity to say drive
your revenue scale your business but
another option you might think about
growing your business is through should
say getting an amazon loan obviously
buying more products and what i'm going
