in today's video I want to go through
the basic things that you need to know
if you're a beginner that's looking to
make money online by starting your own
website I've been able to build various
different types of websites over the
years as you can see from this one that
I started earlier this year I was able
to bring in over 110 000 pounds without
paying too much effort into it and one
of the second type of websites that I
like to build I was able to bring in
almost 4 000 pounds in the last month by
using the strategies that I'm going to
go through in today's video so make sure

into it alright so getting straight into
it there's two main ways that I
personally use when it comes to making
money online with your own website which
is by either starting an e-commerce
website or by starting your own
affiliate marketing blog so I'm going to
break down the method of these two type
of websites in detail just so that you
guys know exactly what you need to to do
straight after watching this video
alright so starting off with what an
e-commerce website actually is it's
essentially going to be a place where
you're going to list physical products
and then customers are going to be able
to come into your website and buy
products from you and of course there's
a little bit more that goes into it
which I'm going to explain in a moment
but one of the platforms that I like to
use when it comes to building my
e-commerce stores is Shopify now a lot
of you have probably heard of these
other platforms when it comes to
building your eCommerce website for
example woocommerce Squarespace Big
Cartel Wix and WordPress and I'm not
necessarily saying that these are bad
platforms because I haven't used
majority of them when it comes to
building a Shopify store the only other
one that I've ever used is woocommerce
and I didn't really like the user
interface I felt like it was very
complicated however Shopify has made it
very very simple when it comes to being
able to get your e-commerce website set
up in a matter of hours or maybe one day
depending on your skill set or depending
on how quick you're going to be able to
do it but Shopify is definitely the best
platform that you want to use when it
comes to listing physical products for
customers to now come onto your website
and buy the items from you and at the
moment they've got a massive discount on
where all you need to do is pay around
one dollar for the next three months
which means that all you need to do is
pay three dollars and you're going to be
able to use all the features that you
need to use with your Shopify website to
make your first 100 first one thousand
dollars even potentially your first ten
thousand dollars depending on how you do
things so if you want to benefit from

course before you even start building
out your store you need to know the
basic things that go into a successful
e-commerce business and I've broken down
the formula for e-commerce success
without having three simple steps so one
of the first things that you need to
make sure that you're aware of is to
make sure that you're looking for a
winning Evergreen product and what this
simply means is that you're going to try
and find an item that is selling all
year round you don't want to sell an
item that is maybe trending for the
moment or maybe it's a seasonal item
that only does well during summer time
or maybe Valentine's or even Christmas
you want to sell an item that is selling
well on a consistent basis that people
actually need and it's also an item that
has also been proven to sell well over
the past five or ten years and there's
so many different items that fall into
this category for example light bulbs
batteries baby products well whatever
the case is you just want to make sure
that it's a winning Evergreen product
that people are buying on a consistent
basis now the next thing that you want
to make sure that you're looking out for
is whether or not you have a reliable
supplier and the reason why I say this
is because over the years of me building
up all of my different e-commerce stores
one of the things that could have
affected My Success over the long term
is whether or not my supplier was going
to eventually start sending me bad
quality items but because I made sure to
put the time and effort into making sure
that the supplier that I was going to
use was also a trustworthy supplier that
was going to be consistent with the type
of quality that they were going to send
me I was able to build an e-commerce
business that eventually went on to do
over 1.5 million pounds so finding a
reliable supplier that's going to send
you the goods on time every single time
with really good quality consistently
it's very crucial to you being able to
have success with your e-commerce
website and finally you also want to
make sure that you're targeting warm
traffic by using paid ads and if you've
not heard of warm traffic before and
you're not really sure of exactly what
it is it's simply where you're going to
position your eCommerce website in front
of people that are likely going to buy
the product from you and the way that
you're going to be able to know if
there's a high charts if you're going to
be able to sell the item or not is if
that person has actively searched for
the item that you're selling so for
example if the customer has gone into
Google and searched for the item or even
Bing or even YouTube and they've
searched for that particular product and
you're able to position your website in
front of them there's a higher chance
that you're going to be able to make
sales however the mistake or the one
thing that a lot of beginners tend to do
is use Facebook ads or Instagram ads
Tick Tock ads or even Snapchat ads but
the thing about all of these non-intent
based targeting methods is that their
social media platforms which means that
people haven't actively gone on to these
platforms with their credit card in
their hand with the intention to buy the
product which means that there's a low
likelihood of someone buying your
product if you position your store in
front of these type of people so these
are the basic things that you need to
think about if you want to increase your
chances of being successful with an
e-commerce website if you're able to
focus on selling winning products and
find a reliable supplier and position
your store in front of people that are
looking for your product you're going to
be able to have e-commerce success
alright so moving on to the second type
of website that you guys can use to make
money moving into 2023 and Beyond which
is an affiliate marketing website so
what exactly is this for anyone that's
never heard of this term before so
affiliate marketing is simply where
you're going to promote another
company's product or service and
whenever someone clicks on your unique
link and buys that product or service
you're going to be able to make a
commission so the affiliate marketing
website is simply where you're going to
build a website with the intention of
releasing valuable articles that can
help people out but within those
articles you're also going to put famous
different products and services that
could potentially help your readers in
one way or another and when you
successfully refer your reader to that
product or service again you're going to
be able to make a commission now when it
comes to the platform that you need to
consider using I would say that
WordPress is the best one in my opinion
all of these other ones are not really
suitable when it comes to building a
long-term blog that you're looking to
take serious because of the issues that
come with SEO and all of these other
things again I've only ever used
WordPress when it comes to building a
lot of my affiliate marketing websites
bear in mind that you are going to have
to pay for hosting even if you use
WordPress with an alternative form and
the one that I like to use is Bluehost I
believe that Bluehost is very easy for
any beginner that's looking to get
started with their website and I may
have a discounted Link in my description
down below so you might want to check
that out but one of the most important
things that you need to make sure that
you're thinking about before you start
even building out your affiliate
marketing website is whether or not you
have expert knowledge in the topic or
the category or the niche that your
website is going to be centered around
because when it comes to making money
using this method it's going to be
somewhat of a long-term game because
you're going to have to consistently
keep hitting out high quality pieces of
content before you're able to make your
first one thousand dollars it may take
you five months six months seven months
before you're able to see your first one
thousand dollars and because of that you
want to make sure that you've got expert
knowledge in whatever you're going to
talk about the next most important thing
is that you want to make sure that it's
also a high paying category on it
they're also going to talk about as well
things like making money online
cryptocurrency investing social media
all of these different categories are
high paying so you want to make sure
that you're also thinking about this
before you start your website and if you
do bear these two things in mind that's
the point where you're now going to be
to build a profitable website I take one
of my most recent websites that I've
recently brought up as an example which
is successforbusiness.com this website
is simply there to help people
understand and navigate the world of
making money online through various
different topics for example selling on
eBay how to make money with Drop
Shipping Amazon FBA my number one goal
with this website is to firstly make
sure that I'm providing as much free
value as possible to anyone that comes
across my website but again I'm also
able to put affiliate links throughout
the website that's going to be able to
give my readers a discount on whatever
software or whatever product that they
want to buy but the reason why I decided
to build a brand new blog and add it to
the portfolio of websites that I've got
at the moment is because I know that
through my experience of building an
online business I'm going to be able to
provide amazing free value to all of my
readers and that's why you guys need to
make sure that you're thinking about
when it comes time for you to start your
own website you just want to make sure
that you've got expert knowledge in the
topic that you're going to be talking
about and you also want to make sure
that it's within a high paying category
as well now of course there's so much
more that goes into making money with
these type of websites that didn't
really get to go into in today's video
