I think I was getting welcome back to
another video good to be back on this
tutorial game and today I'm gonna be
talking about how to sell your own
presets and make money from Instagram
[Music]
what is happening guys welcome back to
another video it's so good to be back in
Cape Town again and following these
tutorial videos for you guys so as a
sinner a today's video is gonna be how
to style your own creases and just to
give you a bit of background on presets
and my history with using them and
styling them is create the platform for
me to grow my own business and grow the
opportunities that I have as a content
creator so in saying that all of the
gear that I've bought recently my new
camera the sony a7s along with the canon
16 to 35 lens and as well as the new
microphone that i have as well was all
poured with the money that I've earned
from presets so I think it's just a
really valuable tool to have as a
content creator a photographer and
Instagram whatever you want to call
yourself just to earn a bit of extra
income and put that toward your
creations so in saying that and from all
the success that I've had with selling
my own presets I wanted to create the
opportunity for others to do exactly the
same so to do this I built my own
website called filter product code and
I'm sure you guys have heard of this
before and I found my own presets on
that side as well but basically it is a
marketplace for people to solve the
presets to their audience or to whoever
in the world they please but the
difference between filter / and other
preset size is that filter Pro allows
you to be in full control of your own
products and your own shop you are able
to upload your own products your own
presets to the store set the price and
also track the income that you're
earning from your presets so hence why I
created the vendor the art of filter
product code and I think many of the
other preset size as well I don't want
to hate on any of them they all do an
amazing job but I think a lot of them
don't accommodate for the average person
people that haven't really made it in
this
albeit or photography or whatever and
they don't really have the audience too
salty but falsi Pro allows anybody to
upload their presets and sell it to the
people looking at the site their own
audience just whoever comes across their
preset so they have the opportunity and
I think that is what is most important
and I think other size can really
provide so just to get into a bit more
practical of how this whole thing works
I'm gonna go into my computer and show
you the whole process of starts to
finish of setting up your store
uploading your presets and then styling
it on Instagram all right so just
jumping onto the computer now I'm gonna
start off from scratch showing you guys
exactly the steps of creating your own
products and uploading them on full
suppose so if you head over to folder
product her this will be the main home
page so what you want to start off by
doing is go over to vendor dashboard
from there it's gonna bring you to this
page where obviously if you're not
registered with folder already you're
gonna have to register a new account so
for the sake of this tutorial I'm just
gonna use my old email address so I'm
gonna put in visual Revit icloud.com put
in your password that you'd like to use
for the slides and click apply to become
a vendor as well so hit that check and
click on register and this should take
you to the next page so from there it's
literally as easy as that you already
have a concept of asphalt imperatore
code and you can start uploading your
products to the store from there
obviously you can see that you have the
different options at the top here what
we're going to do for now is click on
add new product so click on that and
it's gonna take you to the backend of
falsi product where you can add all your
own information to your product add your
pictures add your descriptions and your
price all of that kind of stuff to get
it ready for the store obviously I'm not
going to be uploading an actual product
to the side I'm just showing you this
for the sake of the tutorial but you can
put in the title of your preset pack
over there put in the description there
is one for a longer description which
goes underneath your thumbnail and your
products information and then you can
just put in the short description as
well which goes next to the thumbnail
along with the name down at the bottom
yes so obviously like I said this is
just an example so you can put in the
description info over here this would be
the long description info so I'm just
gonna make a note of that and then if
you scroll down you don't really need to
worry about all the themify
custom panel just leave that stuff as it
is it won't really change anything but
from here what you want to do is keep it
on simple
don't click on downloadable because it
is obviously a downloadable product and
then what we're gonna do is click on add
file and then you're gonna click on
choose file and click on select files
and then you're gonna want to upload
your zip file of your presets to the
side so I've already done this I've also
made a video on how to create your own
presets as well so the link to that will
be in the description as well so please
go check that out if you're unsure of
how to create your own preset click on
the zip file click on open and that's
obviously just upload it to the site
click on insert file and that'll put the
file as a downloadable file then what
you want to do is click on regular price
you put in the price of your product I'm
gonna make it $40.00 for example and if
you want the sale price as well if you
want to have a sale and your product you
started off to launch your preset pack
then you can do that as well so make it
$30 for example you can also set
download limits as well as expiry limits
if you wish to do so and then when you
go over to the writer video you can add
in product tags so this will just make
it easier for people to find your
presets whether they're searching on
Google or whether they're searching on
the site as well so add your product
tags this can be stuff like your user
name so I would just say visual Rev and
presets and adventure
so whatever keywords to relate to you
and your brand and your editing style
please put that in the product tags from
there you can go onto your product image
and this would be the thumbnail image of
your product and the product gallery
what I like to do in this section is a
before and after images so people can
see how the preset works and how it will
affect their photos so basically just
showing them what they are buying so I
think you've got to give them a bit of
an example of how your presets work
before you can actually sell it to them
so if you click on set product image go
to upload files and select files then
you can upload your own thumbnail to
your product you can make it really nice
on Photoshop if you want or you can just
upload a standard photo it's really up
to you so I'm just gonna use this one as
an example click on open and this will
upload to the site once again and then
once I've loaded click on set product
image so now you have your image
thumbnail and then like I said already
you can add the before and after the
pictures to your product gallery so if
you go ahead and click on that once
again
upload files click on select files go
over to your product gallery and just
choose the various files that you'd like
to upload again I'm just gonna use this
as an example upload these two for the
sake of the tutorial
once again when these are uploaded just
click on add to gallery alright so now
you have pretty much all the information
that you need for your products you have
your thumbnail image you have your
product gallery you have your price you
have your file uploaded to the sides you
can add in your categories as well just
say it's part of adventure and portrait
another thing that you can edit as well
is your premier link so basically the
link to your product so you can put in
any custom name that you wish to do so
as well over here again I'm just gonna
leave it as title for the sake of this
tutorial
and from here your product is pretty
much done and ready to be published to
the store so if we click on publish over
here you can also set different times if
you want it to be published a bit in the
future if you want to have a launch date
or something you can automate that
so once we've clicked on published it is
published to the store and if you wish
to make any changes you can do so over
here in this page as well and just click
on update but for now we gonna go check
out our products in the store so go over
to the top left over here and click on
view product and this will take you back
to full to proko where you can see your
product live and in action so there we
go it's really as easy as that so you've
got your product uploaded to the store
people can look at it and add it to
their cart so if they go ahead and add
it to their cart it'll obviously add it
to their cart and then they can go ahead
and check this arts users are able to
add in their own information and pay
with PayPal or credit card as well so
I'm not gonna get into all this this is
pretty standard in e-commerce sites and
then once you have made your first sales
hit it back to the vendor dashboard and
over here you can view your own store
you can click on store settings where
you are able to customize the
description of your store your name all
that kind of stuff and tell people a bit
more about yourself and new products or
edit your existing products and then
like I said already if you have made any
sales this will all come up on the sales
reports and show you the orders that you
have received as well so it really is as
easy as that
so just hopping back onto you
we're gonna start off in filter prayer
and just for the sake of this tutorial
I'm going to be using my own preset pack
as an example so obviously you've
uploaded your preset snaps to the site
and you have your product on your stores
so start off by heading to the URL of
your product obviously everybody's gonna
have their own unique link to their
product so just go ahead and copy that
to your clipboard
then we're gonna head over to Instagram
and go to your profile and then we're
going to go over to edit profile and
from here what are we going to do is
copy that link into the website section
of your bio obviously I have a charity
so I'm not going to copy it again and
then what I've done as well is I have
the line in my bio that says check out
my presets of nice and in all caps and
it stands a house in bold with a little
camera emoji and I've done loads
pointing fingers so people know where
your presets are and where they can be
fun so once you've done that click done
anyone have a nice professional-looking
bio and you are ready to start promoting
your preset pack so insane less there's
different ways to promote your presets
obviously you can just in the standard
Instagram post where you post a picture
and explain it in the caption that you
have a new preset pack and that people
can go check it out another way to do it
is through your stories as well as the
new highlights feature of Instagram so
just as a few examples I recently just
did a standard Instagram post where I
promoted my preset back so on my second
account which is Abdeen underscore
Tucker I did it with my recent photos so
you just say the normal caption and then
I said edit said with my d13 preset pack
and then I said linked in BIOS so always
tell people that the link is in your bio
that is where they can find your presets
and they can check out how to get your
style so that's just one method of
promoting your presets another way is to
show them before and after or photos and
how your preset affects those photos so
you can do this through your story you
can also do it through the Instagram
post as well where you can do the
multiple post thing and have one picture
where it's edited and the other one it's
unedited so there really is so many ways
you can promote your preset back also if
you just get on your story and you saw
talking to the camera and tell people
that you have this new product in your
head excited about it and you want to
start promoting it and getting it out
there so make people excited to be
seeing how you create your work and I
you develop your style I think obviously
the more unique your style is the ease
we'll be to saw your pretty tips because
people don't really know how to achieve
the style themselves so they have to
invest a bit and pay some money to see
exactly how you edit your photos so
that's always a positive so if you try
and be really unique it provides a
better starting point for sign your
presets in the end it really does help
to have a bit of a following as well so
you have a bit more people to promote
your product to although it isn't
necessary and this is exactly the reason
why I've said in the beginning that I
created filter Pro because I wanted to
provide an opportunity for people that
don't have a massive following so that
they can just go on there and get
started and start earning something for
their work that they're putting into
their creates of the team like I said
it's helped me tremendously in growing
my own content I not only want to help
others by doing that as well so if you
haven't signed up for full spray yet
just go check it out the link will be in
the description as well it's also really
not a hard name to forget so go check it
out sign up to be a vendor and start
selling your presets today just another
thing if you guys haven't followed
filter Pro it's a game yet just go check
us out we post daily content so stay
tuned for that also if you guys want
some free presets please sign up for the
mailing list on hold - pro as well in
saying that that is gonna wrap up
today's video I hope you guys have
learned something and I've shown you how
to make a bit more of an extra income
through Instagram and through your
creativity it's also passive income so
that is the best form of income in my
opinion once you've set up your products
once you've set up your store there's
really not much more to it and you just
have to promote it and the money starts
coming in so that's pretty cool
again I hope you guys enjoyed the video
if you did like it please give like' if
you know anyone else that wants to solve
their presets as well refer them to this
video and I'm sure that they would
appreciate it as well but anyway I've
been speaking for too long so I'm gonna
wrap this video up again thank you guys
so much for watching if you like the
video please leave a like if you aren't
here on it hit subscribe and in the
needs
stay weird don't die make it happen I'll
see you guys in the next one
