what's up YouTube today we're gonna talk
about copper pennies a lot of you have
been sending me questions how do I stack
my copper how much copper do I have
stacked what's the best way to sell my
copper we're gonna answer all those
questions and more right now so a few of
you have asked me to to show my copper
stash that I have so far and this is it
I I have somewhere in the neighborhood
of about Oh 100 pounds nothing nothing
spectacular yet but I've only been doing
this a couple months so as you can see
I've been going through lots and lots of
boxes in order to get this much copper I
put them right back into the boxes that
they come in sometimes I roll them
sometimes I just dump them in these were
all rolled world copper that I've saved
and here's the latest box these are all
like 1981 and under the 82 s I keep in
separate boxes just because that was a
transition year so each one of these
boxes the the the $25 penny boxes they
weigh approximately Oh 14 15 pounds and
the nickel ones those were gonna weigh
closer to 20 so I got what 20 40 60 90
somewhere yeah about 100 pounds of
copper so that this is a really great
way to stack it guys it's very easy to
stack the boxes and they don't take up a
lot of room right now if you look at the
copper or spot price it's somewhere in
the neighborhood of two dollars and
fifty cents a pound and that's a
recovering actually in the past five
years it hit you know rock bottom just
what just recently it was all the way up
to about $4 a pound and it dropped
pretty far down and right now we're
going back up as you can see by the
chart here
its back on its way up and and and guys
semi precious metals they they tend to
fluctuate they're gonna go up and down
up and down up and down and right now
it's going up so definitely you need to
be saving your pennies
right now I think on conflation a penny
is worth a proximal and you know if it
keeps going up but you know you're
talking about three or four four times
the value so they're definitely worth
holding on to
so let's take a moment and talk about
the best ways to sell your copper and
get your money back out of your
investment a lot of people have been
selling on eBay I see them sell on eBay
all the time
the problem with that is you have
listing fees you have final value fees
and you're gonna lose a lot of your
investment the best thing that you can
do is sell privately put ads in the
paper or online that you have copper
that you want to sell just be sure that
if you do sell like that make sure it's
legit
make sure you you're going into a public
place to do it maybe bring a friend do
whatever you need you know take whatever
steps you need to take to be cautious
and you know so you don't get either one
robbed or you know something you know
something could happen you know just
take those steps to be careful when
selling publicly like that that is gonna
be your best bet you're gonna get all of
your investment back that way
and that's the way I do it in fact I'm
actually getting ready to put out a
video on a cell or on a sale I should
say that I'm doing right now so be
looking for that video it'll be coming
out probably in the next week or two and
I think that's about it guys I hope you
enjoyed this video make sure you give me
