hey hey welcome back to my Channel today
I'm gonna show you 24 sites where you
could sell your art without a personal
website if you're struggling to build a
site to be able to make sales maybe one
of those 24 platforms might be right for
you because you don't need a site you
don't need payment method you don't need
anything to be able to sell your art
right away I'm sorry oh my God it's so
annoying so I'm taking him into custody
for this video I will divide 24
platforms into different continents like
America Europe and Asia so that you can
choose the one that is closer to you for
the ease of management of your Logistics
so without further Ado let's go to the
first sites uh the first three are
actually very famous I'm sure if you
have done any digging you know them
already number one Sachi art he is the
big brother because it is the largest
online gallery and platform for
Independent Artists to sell art on I
have made a video video on the pros and
cons of selling on Saturday art so I
won't be repeating myself in this video
it takes 35 Commission in exchange of
offering shipping arrangements and
insurance however the return is likely
covered by the artists I've had artists
telling me that the customer would say
oh you know the picture was not accurate
or the description was not accurate
something is off and the blame would be
on the artist and artists would be the
one who is paying for the return fees so
that is something to consider before
selling art on such art number two art
finder art finder is probably the
biggest competitor to Sachi art so it is
the runner-up depending on your seller's
plan subscription it charges you either
35
or 42 percent every time when artwork is
sold so it is two percent higher than
last last year so if you had old tatas
before you might find the numbers of
this is because of their new pricing
it's on the expensive end and the
commission covers from what I read the
free return label I'm not sure it's free
for the customers only or it's also free
for the artist because they do charge a
little more than such a art so I hope it
means they are doing also extra Services
number three
Etsy Etsy is the famous low-cost
airliner of selling arts and crafts it
charges a very small fee per listing
that is 20 Cents Only not a large chunk
of the commission that is 6.5 percent if
you wish to subscribe to their Etsy Plus
subscription plan you pay ten dollars
per month if you make ads within the
side or outside of the platform you also
pay for the advertising so basically you
pay every little bit bit of extra that
you order like a cheap airliner number
four first dips I haven't heard of this
platform before but I met a gallerist
who told me that she had been using it
and she was happy with it so it's a New
York based platform for mixed luxury
items Furnitures watches or paintings
and sculptures whatnot it's a quite a
mixed selection of products and artworks
and they also accept both artists and
dealers so it's a mixed blooded for the
selection and also for the participants
on the platform their commission rates
are quite awkward I couldn't find this
information because I see that they say
depending on the categories you might
pay different fees so if you know any
information on how much they actually
charge let me know in the comment
comment below number five our space art
and space in one word it's funded in
2011 and Art Space is an online
Marketplace for contemporary art based
in New York City its parent organization
is a fading press if your friend should
be saying bye don't press is a famous
art publisher it makes a lot of sense
for the Press house to put a platform
together because they cover artists and
art events so it's a no-brainer if they
would make a Marketplace like this it
has a affordable end that is from a
hundred dollars and also the mid-career
artist around 50 000 a quite nice
selection of items if you potentially
when they publish with Payden press it's
kind of a one stone two words because
you'll be collaborating with both the
publisher and it's uh Payton's son
because it's Peyton's son organization
the number six art bloat art load is a
mixed platform for galleries Jewelers
artists and collectors as you might find
it weird wait collectors yes it doesn't
really care if you are a primary Market
or secondary Market that is to say you
can sell your grandmother's paintings
they do not care they charge a 60 flat
fee to lease the item no commissions the
pro is quite obvious that it filters
unprofessional artists or dealers
because whoever pays 60 bucks for a
advertising you know must be somehow
serious the economy is that it doesn't
really matter if they sell your art or
not they have taken your money they're
happy right so I would call this the gym
because no matter if you go to the gym
or not they take your money no matter if
you lose the weight or not for them the
same so uh I don't know if you feel
happy about the fact that uh you know
it's a flat fee or if you're annoyed by
the fact they charge you like a vantage
Gallery I don't know how you think let
me know in the comment below if you like
to try a platform like this number seven
you Gallery you as the letter U as
founded in 2006. your gallery is a
curated online Gallery based in San
Francisco the way they communicate is
like if they were a physical Gallery
because they don't say it's always us
they say exhibit with us which is
perfectly fine you know it's you know
your gallery sounds like a gallery too
they charge however an application fee
um that is a slightly predatory I would
say because
I would feel a little uncomfortable
paying for application fee not even
knowing if they would go through my
application or not so it's kind of like
a visa fee I would say or the dentist
right you go to pay to see your dentist
but maybe the dentist would do something
for you or maybe not but they would be
paid to just to see you number eight new
blood art it's founded in 2004 so it had
been quite a long time since it's
funding but I've never really heard of
them before my research for this video
is a boutique online art gallery for
early career artists from their
communication I could see they focus on
very early career like pre-career I
would say pre-market as soon as the
artists graduate from art school or not
even in their graduate show the
gallerist from New Blood art would
approach them and it's free to sign up
and apply to and they take a commission
once the work is sold however I'm not
sure how much I didn't find this
information question yet so let me find
out and I would be listing more updated
detailed information on our website I
would make a list of in great detail how
to sell your art online so once I
collect more information I will update
the article I'll put a link in the
description below so you can check it
out later number nine Karina Karina is
founded in 2019 it's an original art
rental place so you subscribe this
rental service and you can see if you
like the art or not and it's like you
can buy you can rent you can rent to buy
it's very flexible and it's open for
artists submission at this point so if
you're interested in having your work
travel around America or travel around
the world going from houses to houses I
don't know if that idea actually
appealed to you let me know in a comment
below if you would let your art to be
rented out to people
call them the art Lord so because
they're like landlord except for they
can rent out the art not the land now
let's move to Europe I'll start with
Central Europe and then going down south
to Spain and Portugal where I'm
currently based number 10 singular art
singular is a parishion Online
Marketplace for Art and Design Furniture
it's a premium store that works with
mid-career artists so it's a quite a
famous platform in Europe many people
have heard about them or have known
another person in their Social Circle
who have sold with single art however
since the pandemic they stopped
accepting new applications
um so if you are new to the site likely
you cannot hear back from them in 2021
last year after 60 million euro funding
I think it's two rounds of funding they
opened a new platform for younger
emerging artists called
Bowser sart
so here comes number 11 both the start
it's uh the most freshly launched online
art marketplaces they charge a
240 Euro annual membership fee to use
the platform and uh 30 commission they
accept artworks less than 120 by 120
centimeters and the price not exceeding
1 000 Euro and the artists must be based
in Europe so it's the EU only platform
singular is overloaded so if you have
been thinking about signing up with
singular but now you don't have a chance
maybe you could try Balsa sart the only
problem is the name is not very catchy
not as catch a single art number 12 art
major
founded in 2009 art major is a again
piration website for art and high-end
prints they have two types of services
basic free accounts with 35 commissions
plus vat which is valued added tax that
is very common in Europe so I actually
don't need to mention it because this is
by law for every country in Europe you
need to apply that as well and platinum
account with 30 commission plus v80 so
there's only five percent difference I
would say a normal uh person or artist
would not really care that much it's not
like you're selling a house with a large
sum of money it's a five percent of I
don't know our that is worth 500 to 5
000 it's not a lot of money so I would
call them the accountant because they
are very careful with their numbers
number 13
karawiki ah karawiki is founded in 2008
in Amsterdam it's a online auction house
or auction platform for buying and
selling special items from art to
Collectibles many different wide range
of items that you can buy and sell on it
claims to be the most visited online art
and collectible Marketplace in Europe
I don't know how they calculate most
visited because obviously you need to
visit the site several times for the
bidding so maybe one user would visit
let's say three times on Aboriginal
costs three visits so no wonder they are
like the most visited but yes they are
quite famous in Central Europe I know
many artists who are working with
karawiki so it's a legit site and it
charges a 12.5 commission plus v80 so
that's a very fair price I would call it
the art eBay because it's like eBay but
it's focusing on Art number 14 art over
the world it's a special site because
it's based in a place I've never heard
before it's called new door George
door drenched the Netherlands they
they're literally in the middle of
nowhere I'm not criticizing it's just I
would call them my Geographic teacher
because uh before that I've never heard
of this place I didn't even know this
region existed in Europe so thank you
for making me learn something new you
can find a wide range of media from
digital art to Textile Art they accept
large selection of submissions their
free plan charges a 99 cent Euro
processing fee and a 25
commission so that's quite Fair stop
playing with my stuff cats number 15 art
Mo that's not my side because my name is
Mo and when there's art more that's kind
of weird it's a startup company founded
in Hamburg Germany in 2017 it's a social
media for artists dealers and collectors
and I would imagine it's something like
art station but for fun artists it
doesn't charge a commission but there is
a small processing fee according to
their social media post I believe is 2.5
percent but I think it's too good to be
true I don't know you know what is
really you know happening because it's
quite all good I don't really see a lot
of the content
um you you can't see you can't read
unless you join the community so it's
kind of a client that's thin way of
spreading the content I'm not sure if I
should sign up if I do so and check out
their site and the content and see how
they work I will let you know on our
website or I'll update the description
below and tell you more about it at this
point I really don't know much now let's
go down down to southern Europe number
16 art link art link is a Spanish site
that offers a place online to visualize
and sell art they offer 3D visualization
it's kind of like an online viewing room
but you can sell your art the name art
link coincides with an Australian art
magazine but there's no link whatsoever
between the two it seems that it's just
a coincidence it's a tiny platform at
this point they have 27 Subs on their
YouTube I'm not judging but I'm just
saying that they are very young at this
point
number 17
Arte net I had to correct myself
multiple times before this video because
every time I look at it I translate in
my head art is Art so it's art net but
no it's not not to be confused with
artnet it's a Spanish Online Marketplace
for original artworks and some selected
art prints it's a freemium it's afraid
to use as a basic online listing site
with perhaps ads and is paid with extra
services so you can
um I don't really know what their actual
services are because I think they're not
very clear and it's not very famous I
think the catchiest part of their site
it would be their name it's kind of like
a doppelganger or is that the right word
it's like a fake twin right it's not art
net but it sounds like artnet number 18
Arte Lista artista is again Spanish
language Marketplace for art it's just
like artina is a premium it's free to
use and there's a Premium plan you can
pay that is 49.99 per year that's the
basic plan and then the higher end is
99.99 euro per year and they charge a 30
commission for their meat range plans I
would say you know maybe at this point
is not worse and it's not the best buy
for your buck because it is uh very
ordinary platform I see it's pretty much
like rdnet and art finder you know it's
uh
I haven't found really what is their
unique value proposition yet at this
point number 19 Fletcher Fletcher means
in Spanish Arrow it's a quite a famous
company because it has been a art fair
before it's a Online Marketplace for 25
years and currently they are also making
local art fairs in different cities in
Spain so they're quite active physically
as well as online they charge a 45
commission and is headquartered in
Madrid my home base you can request as a
collector as a potential buyer an
artwork to be sent to their Madrid
office to view physically personally in
their office and decide if you want to
purchase it or not so it's quite Blended
that's very good with the pandemic many
things are Blended like conferences
Blended classrooms Blended you can
attend online and offline and you can
switch between the two and that is
something I think is really added value
on their site number 20
size show I'm not sure if I pronounce it
right scishow art it's a Madrid company
that offers matchmaking services for
collectors on their site I can see their
Communications all about pilot made kind
of services for collectors I don't
really see any sort of a program for
artists yet but I think it makes a lot
of sense because in the end of the day
it's the collectors who are paying and
if they are not giving the service to
the artist they are giving a service to
the collectors why not and they are
looking for the kind of art that is
right for a particular group of
particular one single collector and your
art might be selected so if you are okay
to be in the waiting list to you know be
in the pool for people to pick you you
are customer oriented why not you know
it might be a good place for you
especially if you live in Spain number
21
Arts Talent so it's ours not Arts it's a
platform made by artists for artists you
can see clearly it's made by artist uh
no offense not by really I.T technicians
because they obviously need a lot of
updates their site is clearly outdated
missing English language version and
missing many features they're very
little information on who they are what
they do so I can't tell you right now
much more than what I'm telling you I
calculated manually currently they have
2937 artists registered on their
platform number 22
p55 art p55 is a Portuguese company that
focuses on selling artworks fast that's
their tech line I met them during the
Arco art fair parallel fair just Lisbon
art fair in May and they seem to be
quite serious and passionate and I
talked with their CEO is there CMO and
it's a nice people they work with both
gallerists and artists if you are living
in southern Europe especially in
Portugal is a Marketplace worth thinking
of
now let's move to somewhere far away
Asia number 23 art Ling art Ling is a
Singaporean Art and Design Marketplace
it's free to sign up for both Artisan
galleries they take a commission when
the work is sold in 2017 they acquired
the hankanese-based platform
artshare.com so I would call arteling
the merger because I think out of the 24
sites they are the only one who have
merged with another
equivalent like their own if you are
based in Asia or thinking about visiting
or moving to Asia it's a site that is
worth checking out
number 24 last but not the least art
Loft Asia art loved Asia is like Karina
it's a Singaporean Marketplace to buy
and sell art but also they offer rental
services to local businesses like hotels
restaurants to decorate their space
rental prices start from four percent of
the purchase price and the contracts
would last from 3 to 12 months and I
think it's kind of weird three to 12
months it's like it's really made for
undecisive business owners because
they're not sure they want to keep it or
not they need more time they need less
time and finally they can decide after
12 months it's not a uh forever
renewable rental I think they're also
quite undecisive because it seems like
they want to be the Sachi art art finder
at the same time they want to be the
Karina and they haven't made up their
mind what kind of business models to
develop up correct me if I'm wrong but I
find this kind of idea is interesting
but they really have to like focus on to
be the thing right art link is the one
to sell okay maybe they can be the one
to rent they just have to make up their
mind and targeted at this specific
rental service and now you have heard
all the 24 sites and I hope you can find
something or at least one site that is
useful for you
before finishing this video I have to
say one more thing is that I find that
there is one kind of online art platform
missing that is I would call it the
udemy platform because uh I really wish
there is a platform like udemy and you
may say what is what is udemy so it's a
online teaching or learning platform so
it's like a Academy online
udemy and they charge a very weird way
like if you send your students to their
site they would charge three percent and
give you 97 so you you keep the majority
of the money but if they publicize your
work and get the customers for you you
only get 37 they keep the majority uh
more than half of what you earn that
makes sense because uh digital courses
like you know this kind of uh content is
scalable it doesn't matter you have 10
students or a thousand or a million it
doesn't matter for you because you have
pre-recorded all your courses and it's
just a click of a button to sell them
but I like the idea is that if an artist
is bringing his or her own customers the
platform should only charge minimal like
the processing fee maybe 10 maybe 15
maximum 20. but if the platform brings
the customer with ads or with uh
newsletters
it makes sense for the platform to
charge a little more like 35 40 45 even
I would say up to 50 like a traditional
Art Gallery without a subscription fee
that is totally fair I think I really
would like to see in the future a
platform like this because I want to
encourage artists to uh communicate to
Market their works and don't leave other
works of communication to the platform
because
they get the customers they keep them
and you don't get your hands on this
important contacts the data The Matrix
they will show you what they want to
show you right you don't get to see
everything it's not as transparent as
you would wish
so that's all for today thank you very
much for watching this video and before
finishing a big shout out to our lovely
patrons thank you very much for your
support uh thank you very much Mishi for
not disturbing me here you go
hey
say goodbye
see you
