so my girlfriends and i had big plans to
go to oktoberfest in munich but because
of the pandemic it made it hard to get
out there this year but we're not going
to let that stop our party i'm lauren
ashley beck and when i celebrate
oktoberfest at home this is what's
in my bag

oktoberfest is held each year in munich
germany for just over two weeks at the
start of fall
we can thank king ludwig the first for
this annual celebration welcome
flashback all the way to 1810 where the
first oktoberfest occurred at his royal
wedding to princess therese and germans
have been partying ever since

as you can see i'm wearing a dirndl but
i'd be just as comfortable in some cute
lederhosen this outfit i found really
really cheap online and can store it
away easily for next year so while the
blue and white
those are the colors of the bavarian
flag home to munich and oktoberfest for
more than two centuries you can find
tablecloths solo cups everything you
need at a party store online
okay let's talk beer oktoberfest
visitors drink millions of liters every
festival
did you know that only six munich
breweries meet the strict criteria to
serve beer at the festival
so you could go the can or bottle route
but i like to stick with these little
mini kegs they taste really good and
they have me feeling like a bavarian
king or queen
party's here who wants to do a cake
stand
you dare you i'm definitely a beer girl
do you guys know the four ingredients
that you need to make beer i'm gonna
tell you right now i bet you thought i
didn't know water
hops barley and wheat

finding a german food can be really
tricky but in this cute doxie bag that i
got on etsy i've loaded up on some local
fare to feed my guests beer buzz
i got some sausages for the grill
sauerkraut mustard and of course
those jumbo pretzels

decorating station for your guests so
that way you can make german gingerbread
