this week we made the drive from new
orleans to nashville
we towed our trailer in pouring rain for
the first time
yikes we passed through mississippi and
alabama
where we tried our first boiled peanut
cajun boiled peanuts are a new thing
and we made it to this incredible rv
park right on the water just 15 minutes
from downtown nashville
just in time for sunset
we're getting the hang of it this
is where we're staying for the next
seven nights
this place is freaking awesome

we are so excited for this city
nashville has been at the top of our
list and that is why
i had to just jump on here now we're
freaking pumped last night was so much
fun we went out we got to check out
broadway
the craziest thing so far on nashville
is that every bar is basically a concert
and you just get to pick which band you
want to listen to it's really cool

we want to try all the food check out
all the music the shopping
to talk to some people get to know some
of the stories we know a lot of people
come here
to make it in the country music industry
but we're just really excited to explore
the city and bring you all along

all right so we just checked out 12th
street it's a really popular shopping
area here in nashville
we tried some coffee we got to check out
this awesome boot
and hat shop and we also got to see
reese
witherspoon's store so now we're on our
way to try the number one thing that
everyone keeps telling us we have to try
hot chicken hallelujah
hallelujah hockey peas chicken fried hot
chicken
delicious for me for you we excited we
want to eat it together and
go medium hot because i don't want to
burn my tongue off of course there's a
line
you know the food is good when there's a
line this long
we have made it in the building i
immediately feel a slight burning in my
eyes
there it is all right oh beautiful we're
just gonna put it all in the middle and
share

all right we got a half fried chicken
right here we went with the mild
got the extra sauce on the side this is
a chicken tender with the hot
sauce oh don't try one of them look at
this
i'm a little bit afraid i'm not going to
start with that you know you got to be
pruned in here you got to tread
carefully we got coleslaw pimento mac
and cheese
southern greens which nathan was not
happy about my choice with that
then of course we can't cannot have a
dessert this is their banana pudding
somehow nathan has allowed me to go
first even though i know
he really wants to go hey that's love
that's real love
give it a nice little smell
then you say you got mild i'm going for
it
that's what we want to see right there

it's just really amazing
you're committing dude this is so
freaking good

that is gonna mess nathan extra hot

i had to do it you know but i might be
having second thoughts
this is the best fried chicken i've ever
had in my life
even though i i was recently exposed to
popeye's chicken sandwiches and that has
also changed my life
ready to dig into the uh extra hot
chicken tender that that i asked for i
have my coleslaw ready if i need it and
i have one piece of toast
okay this is my backpack now for some
people i know out there this might be
nothing to them
okay but i haven't been eating spicy in
a really long time and i'm already
feeling it from the mild so
i think you're screwed
you know it's important to find somebody
in life who builds you up
gives you that confidence boost when you
need it so appreciate that
okay it's actually not too bad
it's one of those hot things that
doesn't hit you right away
it tickles the back of your throat a
little bit when i exhale i can feel me
starting to sweat a little bit around my
eyes though i'm sweating like a damn
glazun tight
i'm starting to feel like i'm on one of
those episodes of hot ones like
shaquille o'neal
when he gets to that sixth wing you know
what i'm saying

it's good though it's a good heat
i just really want the goo goo goo goo

all right this is my first bite of the
goo goo peanut caramel nougat covered in
milk chocolate
goddamn the caramel coming out the sides
that is glorious

deal
it's exactly what it says it's bomb i'm
sure there's 190 calories for one
they don't want to know that they just
want to know if it's delicious is it
delicious
if you like nougat and milk chocolate
nuts you'll love it

all right we've made it to broadway
round two
otherwise known as nash vegas here and
we're lying right now for jason aldean
and hopefully we'll be able to get into
some other bars but it is
packed it's bobbing there's a lot of bad
turrets

i got marshmallow over my goddamn plague

so we're in nashville tennessee and
we're preparing for some pretty cold
temperatures the next few nights
so we as rv newbies have had our fair
share
of frozen hoses okay in a few different
places and we finally decided that this
is something that we really need so i
did some research i was trying to find
a really good no freeze hose and it was
actually pretty difficult
because there were a handful of ones
that were pretty popular that had
really really mixed reviews but then
i found this blog on camper report and
they recommended this hose
went to their website and it was saying
the only no freeze water hose you'll
ever need so that obviously got my
attention and they had
raving reviews so we're really excited
to try out this host today it's called
no freeze water hose let's go get that
hose
so we're now on the side of our water
hookup but i just want to start with
first impression
this thing is heavy and it feels really
really thick and well made i was
actually
really shocked when we got in the mail
because i've never seen a hose
like this heavy duty

i'm gonna come down here listen
so we're gonna have to wrap both entry
ways of where the water comes from the
spigot and then where the water actually
goes into our trailer
because not only can the hose freeze but
the entry points can freeze
so there's pigtails on both sides so
cool i think that's good it should hold
the heat in all right
here's the entry point towards city
water connection we went out and bought
this brass elbow
so we can wrap the pigtail around
i think i just went through there

okay so both sides are wrapped and taped
and i'm going to come over here
and open this up so i want to make sure
it's off
i'm going to turn on and
i'm gonna come over and now turn the
water on

oh that's fantastic

oh my god we're so good

all right this little piece that they
gave us wasn't fully tight
so the bottom part needs to go towards
me tighter and the top part
yep it's loose all right so let's check
that now
yeah now re-wrap it and re-tape it round
two now let's see if it works
all right that's good news we don't have
leaking at this end or the other end
all right guys just wanted to give you
an update on our no freeze water hose
we've had it on for the last sorry for
all the main it was a bunch of
construction happening over there
but just wanted to give you an update on
how it's performed over the last three
days and it's been below freezing every
single night and so far so good guys i
mean it's super heavy duty we're really
happy with it we can sleep good at night
knowing that our hose didn't freeze
we're also really happy that we went
with this one instead of the more
well-known more popular cam co-host this
is a smaller business but the reviews
