bell firstly let's talk about when to
visit the UK has temperamental whether
it rains far too often and London is not
fun when you get caught outside during a
rainstorm April to June is the best time
to visit the weather is getting warmer
and there is less chance of rain
September and October are also good
times to visit however we recommend you
take a light jacket especially in the
evenings July and August can be
wonderfully warm but London is
incredibly busy and hotel can be double
the price personally I love visiting
London at the beginning of December when
the city sparkles and Christmas lights
and you find Christmas markets all over
but again expect the crowds and a wrap
up warm remember to check school
holidays and bank holidays before
booking your trip as well
now we're going to talk about the cost
of London London and travel around the
UK can be expensive but there are also
ways to visit London on a budget you can
find chain hotels such as Travel Lodge
and Premier Inn in many neighborhoods
around the city with rooms costing as
little as 60 pounds a night when you're
booked in advance you can even find
hostels that include breakfast for
around 20 pounds when budgeting your
trip to London you will want to include
transportation the tube is the best way
to get around London and it costs to
pound 30 a trip avoid using the Wicker
shores and black cabs around the city
they are expensive and the city is full
of traffic anyway
heads to a takeaway shop or street
vendor for lunches from five pounds
whilst dinners will cost you upwards of
ten pounds to save some money consider
eating at the chain restaurants such as
Nando's Pizza Express Wagga Mama's and
the gourmet burger kitchen a few other
ways to save money in London is by
walking as often as you can
saving money on the tube and bus fares
you could also take advantage of the
free attractions in the city most
museums are free to enter landmarks are
of course free and you can join one of
the three walking tours ran every day
you can find a schedule of these on free
tours by foot or strawberry tours we
will leave a link to our favorite free
tours in the description below
for attractions in London book tickets
in advance to save money use the
national rail two-for-one offers and get
discounted prices on sites and
restaurants from Groupon if you're
planning to see all the sites in London
you may want to get yourself a London
pass we will leave the link in the
description below but this path means
that you can see lots of attractions at
discounted prices next we are going to
talk about how to get around London the
easiest way to get around London is by
taking the tube the underground takes
you around the city and within walking
distance to most sites in London to save
time queuing for tickets each time get
yourself an oyster card or use
contactless debit cards walking around
London is possible but why not use the
bike rental scheme around the city which
allows you to rent a bike by the hour
