hi everyone in 2019 I got to visit
Croatia which was on the top of my
bucket list here I will share how I
planned my 10 day itinerary and
maximized number of places to see
through day trips
[Music]
our flight was from Toronto with two
stops in Amsterdam Netherlands and
Belgrade Serbia and finally we arrived
in Dubrovnik close to landing you get a
panoramic view of Croatian Ocean coast
which takes your breath away
after 20 minutes taxi right we were
dropped off at the east gate of the old
town and a wheeled our luggages to the
am B&B since it was already late in the
afternoon we chose to check out the city
wall walk which was absolutely the
biggest highlights
[Music]
[Music]
to finish the entire walk or take two
hours
I recommend start from the east side in
late afternoon with this timing by the
time you get to the opposite end you are
in time for the most beautiful sunset at
night there are plenty of restaurants
and bars for you to enjoy a drink and
delicious meals the next morning was
magical as I woke up to the sound of
church bells opening my windows I can
almost see the center of old town off to
the second day of adventure we explored
it Oh to town on foot and acclaimed a
lot of stairs a lot walking through the
North stage to exit the old town you get
a close-up of the massive city wall the
city wall built from 16th century is
kept entirely intact without damages
from war or natural disasters in the
afternoon we hired a taxi to take us to
the top of the mountain where we get an
amazing panoramic view of the old town
as well as the coaster line
[Music]
another sunny day in Croatia and we are
ready to hop Islands we cruised visit or
on the cracker ship and made stops on
three different islands these islands
are remote
therefore private and quiet we had
freedom to explore each island of the
fates lunch was included
we even had time to squeeze and relax
baggage on the final stop
[Music]
last morning in Dubrovnik and it was our
time to chill when wondered around old
town and tried to find those filming
spots from the gaming room next we got
on a bus to head to the next city
look the bus ride was very relaxing was
ocean view most of the trip the entire
bus ride takes about five hours with a
passport chart because you actually
cross another country boo boo extra
stamps once arrived in split I was
instantly attracted by the vibes I the
waterfronts it is right outside Old Town
where is prominent for pedestrians to
walk and chill
life music starts at 8 p.m. in the
centre of the old town you just have to
buy a drink to enjoy a whole night of
lovely concert
good morning split the old town is full
of charms and the diocletian palace is a
big part of it this ancient palace was
built for the Roman Emperor Diocletian
at the turn of the 4th century the rest
of the old town features massive stone
walls temples narrow and winding streets
after latte
we hopped on a ferry to visit wha which
is an island about an hour away the pier
and central area features whitewashed
towns and cobble streets for day trips
we climbed to the fortress at the very
top for the most picturesque view of the
main town there armed are so many things
to do on this island and the next time I
return I will definitely stay a few days
to visit remote towns and beach areas
[Music]
the new date was another day trip today
we rented a car to visit Bologna ancient
Roman ruse
please fortress see organ is our da
first Bologna which was a capital of
Roman province of Dalmatia this is a
very large area to explore on foot here
you will see the mean of Oran cemetery
city walls and an amphitheater the next
stop clits
fortress is a short drive away its
popularity increased tremendously in
recent years as a fumin location for the
game of throne in real life the fortress
served as a important strategic location
in defending the kingdom next which off
to the state of Dada of 2cc organ which
showcases organ music from ocean wave
crushed air through tubes built
underground
this is popular spot for locals to chill
or to swim
[Music]
today is our last full day in split
before we hop on an overnight train to
the next city we did another day trip to
the town of Charter which is only 25
minutes away
it is a preserved old town known for its
mix of Renaissance barrack and
Romanesque beauties it lies our small
Peninsula and a sweeping view of the
island and surroundings
it's from the bell tower
[Music]
we had some free time before the night
train so we checked out the basement of
diocletian palace the section is only
completely preserved part of the ancient
palace
through a night of sound sleep on the
train we arrived the capital city Zagreb
in early morning stepping out of the
tree station I instantly felt I'm
travelled from the medieval time period
to the modern world
Zagreb is a vibrant city boosting eye
catching architectures bold and working
museums and lively markets
[Music]
[Music]
whoa timing by so fast today is our last
day in Croatia and we took a day trip to
politicize Lakes this national park is
most certainly worth seeing the beauty
of the park lies in 16 lakes
interconnected by a series of waterfalls
depending on my neural content and
lighting conditions the lakes vary in
color from Emory green to talk wise to
deep blue there are four hiking trails
to guide you through the park and a
recommend to spend a day here to see
both the upper and lower areas
[Music]
so that was my trip I hope you liked it
