How to pack to move out of state
MY MOVING ESSENTIALS / MOVING OUT OF STATE | PACKING TIPS

hey y'all welcome back I am sitting here
in a pretty much packed up house it's
really hard to believe but it's actually
coming to a close and tomorrow we'll be
loading day for our move to Florida and
I'm trying to get a couple of things
together as far as essentials boxes
they're gonna be the last boxes on to
our trailer and the first ones off when
we get to Florida so I'm gonna go ahead
and show you what those boxes are but I
thought that you guys might find it
helpful for those of you who are
planning to move and if you others have
moved I know there's been so many of you
guys who said you've moved like how many
times in your life and kudos to you but
tell me if this works for you if you've
done something similar and yeah I don't
know I'm trying to stay organized but
anyway let's get into it so for the
first bin I have just a regular storage
bin and I'm putting enough towels and
some washcloths and also I am putting
our sheets and stuff in here I don't
have all of it in there yet
but I think it'll be filled up nicely
but this is just gonna be handy because
I know that all the stuff we need for
the first night would be in here - our
pillows in bedding of course toilet
paper will be something else I'll put in
that box because obviously that is a
definite need the next bin is my
cleaning supplies and laundry stuff I
don't have quite everything in here
because I've got it a couple other
places in my house but basically this is
just a whole bunch of my cleaning
products there's rags and stuff there's
Magic Erasers I'm expecting that we'll
have to clean most of the house before
we actually move into I wanted it all in
place and plus I have it here and I can
use it to clean our house and then also
it'll just be ready to go for the next
one I'll probably also keep this handy
dandy shark vacuum that I've raved about
I'll put this in here I'm guessing as
well and have that easily accessible
it's just really handy for like drawers
and stuff and I'm gonna be using it for
mine as well
for final cleaning the other bin that I
will be taking is the essentials that
we'd need for the first day or first
couple days
even like plasticware I just put this
into my bamboo caddy that I have already
and I'll be putting things in like
plates here is the rest of the stuff I
have it in an actual box but I haven't
totally filled it yet there's like cups
of plates napkins just yours essentials
that you need to have for eating and
drinking if you don't have anything else
unpacked yet I just feel like that will
be really handy plus I've been using it
here towards the end of our move out
process and everything just so I don't
have to keep washing dishes just you
know for the last day or two I don't
have the vacuum with me but I'll also
have like a vacuum and broom and
different things like that mop just to
kind of have handy for when we get there
another thing that would be really good
to put in here is trash bags something
else I plan to do is have a whole
section or suitcase or box or something
to put like my electronics my computers
camera all of that stuff that you kind
of need every day I'm gonna try and keep
that all together but that would be
really wise if you could have like a box
of just your electronics and cords and
remotes and that sort of thing because
that way you know it's all in one box
some of this stuff is actually gonna be
in with us and not on the trailer so
that's probably a good idea another
thing I'm gonna try and do if I remember
at the end I know things are gonna be
chaotic but things like scissors or
knives or whatever you need to open
boxes so that you don't have to go
searching for stuff I'm gonna try and do
do that as well maybe put it in one of
my other essentials boxes so that would
be really wise I think so that you know
that you have all of your supplies when
you get there and last but certainly not
least is my trusty Keurig this thing is
definitely going to be in one of those
boxes that goes in last so that's
another thing I thought of that's it
guys I hope that this video was helpful
for you that's all I can think of right
now I may have missed something and if I
did let me know in the comments and
people will definitely be able to get
more ideas if you all chip in but so far
it's going good for us and I'm not sure
at what point in this video we'll be
going up as to where we are in the
process of moving but
yeah things are going okay and I feel
pretty good about it I know I'll be a
little sad tomorrow but thank you all so

yeah it's bittersweet but we're excited
