How to pack for a beach holiday

hi guys how's it going I hope you're all
having a wonderful day so far today's
video we are gonna be packing before a
beach vacation so I'm gonna be sharing
with you things that I feel like are
essential and also what I'm personally
going to be packing so let's jump right
into it okay so I thought it would be
easier if I organized everything into
categories and then you guys can see
exactly what I'm packing within each so
we're gonna start off with the carry-on

okay so this is the bag that I'm going
to be packing everything into here but
I'm also gonna be bringing on with me my
big black purse so I'll be carrying
stuff in there as well just my wallet
and things like that here I have just an
extra outfit so I wanted to bring an
extra shirt and an extra pair of shorts
you never know if your luggage gets lost
it's always nice to have extra things
just in case I'm also bringing an extra
bathing suit
a couple of tampons you never know if
you'll have an emergency or not a pair
of sunglasses a lip chap then I have
some headphones over here and my iPhone
charger a pen in case you need to fill
out forms or anything like that always
good to have a pen on you passport a
notebook and then two books

these here are all the toiletries that
I'm gonna be packing so I have a curling
wand then I have shampoo conditioner
coconut oil spray and this is a heat
protectant / UV protectant for your hair
so I'm gonna be bringing that as well
and then over here I have my makeup this
is just my everyday makeup bag if you
guys saw my makeup collection you know
exactly what's in there and then this
bag here I just have some of the larger
items like my highlight palette and my
contour kit I'm not bringing any
eyeshadows or things like that because I
probably wouldn't end up wearing them so
I'm only bringing two brushes this is my
contour brush here that I use and this
is the one for highlighting and that's
pretty much it over here this is my
toiletry bag and I leave this bag packed
24/7 so if I'm going away for a weekend
trip a night trip or a week-long I just
have this easy to grab and go
and honestly I highly recommend all of
you do this if you do any sort of
traveling it's just so easy it makes
your life so much easier it's already
pre-packed with all of your essentials
so you don't even have to think about
forgetting anything so I'll just show
you quickly exactly what I keep in there
okay so I have some face wash then I
have a hairbrush my deodorant this is
just a hairband
so when I wash my face that keeps my
hair out of the way I have a soap a
little mini moisturizer some eye cream a
little toothpaste a hair clip a razor a
comb and a glove for if I'm going to be
curling my hair and in this side here I
also just keep my toothbrush and in the
front pouch I also keep some stuff in
here as well like an extra lip chap
bobby pins some q-tips I actually stole
these from a hotel but they were the
perfect little travel size more tampons
and extra hair elastics

all right moving on to accessories I'm
gonna be packing an extra couple pair of
sunglasses a scarf here that I can use
for my hair and my little neck --less
right here and then some little stud
earrings I find like in the past I used
to be the worst at packing accessories I
would pack way too much stuff and then I
wouldn't even wear any of it so what I
try to do now is just pack like a couple
things of each and that way you know
you're actually gonna wear it so I just
have this little baggie here that I'm
gonna keep all of my jewelry in when I
pack that and I'll put the necklace in
there as well

for beachwear I'm just packing a couple
of extra bathing suits I absolutely love
bathing suits they're one of my favorite
things it's too bad that I live in the
climate that I do and then I'm also
packing sunscreen of course and a big
beach hat and then a bathing suit
cover-up this is just a really loose
fitted black dress with spaghetti straps
and it's a nice Jersey material so it's
perfect for over top of a wet bathing
suit okay for shoes I really wanted to
keep it simple as well so I'm only gonna
be bringing three pairs and then I will
wear running shoes to the airport and
have those as well so these ones here
are my $4 Walmart flip-flops they're my
absolute favorite honestly and my little
furry nephew chewed on them a little bit
but that's okay yeah I figured those are
just perfect to slide on and go to the
beach and I don't care if they get dirty
or ruined so those are the perfect
flip-flops for that and I have these
shoes here which I picked up in the
summer from Payless love them they're
really comfortable easy to slide on and
then these ones over here which I
thought could be a little bit dressier
they have the detail going on here and
fun fact these were actually my wedding
shoes I wanted something that would be
super practical and that I could also
wear again in the future and I thought
these were perfect they're a nice nude
color so I'm going to be bringing those
as well

okay last but not least this is all the
clothing that I'm going to be bringing
some pajamas right here a jean jacket in
case it gets cooler these are a couple
dresses that I have one blue one one
white one then I have a blouse up here
a couple of t-shirts just a basic white
t-shirt and then this one right here
two tank tops basic black tank top and
one of my lacy trim tank tops and I
always feel like it's a good idea to
bring a small little clutch bag so I
have that one there two skirts and then
these are a couple more dresses and I
actually just bought them I think
they're absolutely adorable I don't have
that many summery clothes so I splurged
a little bit I got this one right here
absolutely gorgeous I love the color of
it it's almost like a burnt orange and
then the lacy detailing at the top is
just gorgeous and then I also got this
one right here which I love the colors
on also really nice blush pinks and
greens and I love that it has a higher
neck that ties up in the front so very
much my style and over here I just have
a couple pairs of shorts some dressier
black shorts then I have these almost
army green colored shorts and some navy
blue ones here and then some overalls

so anything that can explode I just like
to put in a plastic bag so just like my
shampoo the sunscreen everything like
that and that's pretty much everything
so I just like to roll up my clothing so
that it fits a little bit better and I
keep all my clothing up here because
it's lighter and the wheels are at the
bottom so that way if it does fall over
it's not the hugest deal and then I have
more clothes my bathing suits my
toiletries and makeup and all of those
things here up here this is where I keep
my sunglasses and my accessories and all
of my shampoos and whatnot and then my
shoes are in there and yes I did pack
underwear
I just didn't show you guys and that's
pretty much it
