hey guys welcome back to another video
on the channel so in this video I'm
going to be showing you guys how to
install car mods in GTA 5. the car mod
that I'm going to be installing is this
one right here the 2017 Nissan gr but
before we can install this car mod we
need to download some pre-requirements
the pre-recarements for the installation
of add-on cars is open IV crypto v.net
and descriptive V once you have all four
of them downloaded again open IV crypto
v.net script to V and also your car we
can now go ahead and start modding our
game first thing that we need to do is
install open IV open IV is pretty simple
to install all you need to do is follow
along with the prompts and you'll be
good
um once it's finished installing you're
gonna press close there's gonna be a
shortcut you're going to go ahead and
run that shortcut once you run the
shortcut this is going to come up you're
going to go to GTA 5 windows then this
is going to pop up you're going to go to
browse and you're going to locate the
main game directory for GTA normally it
automatically goes into it but if you
you know have any problems try to find
where the exe4 GTA is located
once you do that and it found the exe
you can press continue then continue and
it's going to start doing some
encryption stuff
once that is done you're gonna see this
opens up the first thing that we need to
do in open IV is go to the ASI manager
we're going to install all three of
these things right here then you're
gonna press close you're gonna enable
the edit mode by clicking the edit mode
up top and pressing yes what we're going
to do now is find the main game
directory for GTA I'm using the one in
Steam so I'm going to right click on GTA
manage browse local files what I'm going
to do now is copy the files that we
downloaded the pre-requirements into the
main game directory for GTA the first
one is the community scriptv.net I'm
going to copy all of these at the bottom
not the readme or the license and I'm
going to paste them into the main game
directory for GTA then I'm going to go
back and I'm going to do script of V
I'm gonna go into bin and I'm going to
copy the dll files into the main game
directory
once that is done we're going to go to
the main game directory and you're going
to create a mods folder mods common
letters you're going to copy your
updates into the mods folder you're
going to right click copy and go into
your mods folder and you're going to
paste it here the reason why we want to
do this is because we don't want to
corrupt our original update file so
we're going to use the mod 1 to mod the
game so if there's any problem you just
delete this one once you've done that
we're going to go and install our car
mod we're going to open up the folder or
the zip file for your car mod
you're going to go into your GTA files
folder you're going to go into Mods
updates x64 DLC pack and you're going to
copy the car name minus GTR into the
main game the main folder of your DLC
pack we're going to copy it right here
so this is my car name GTR and it's
copied into the DLC Packs
we're going to open the readme because
we're going to be using the readme to
install a car mod for this specific car
your car mod might be the same so just
read the readme and it will give you
instructions and also stuff that you
need to paste in certain locations in
openrv we're going to go back to open IV
we're gonna go into Mods updates update
RPF almonds and then data we're going to
look for something called a
dlclist.xml make sure again that edit
mode is on we're going to right click
and we're going to go to edit we're
going to scroll down to the bottom we're
gonna
make a space to have your line where you
can write something we're going to copy
this one right here again the
instructions are given in the readme so
exactly this that I'm doing so you won't
get confused we're going to paste this
line of code right here and we're going
to hit save then we're going to look for
another one a call it's called extra
titles we're going to right click go to
edit we're going to scroll down to the
bottom
we're gonna click at the item the end of
item make a space and we're going to
copy this right here
we're gonna paste it
right here
once that is done you can save
and
yeah that's pretty much it if you have
any problems and the game is crashing
when you're you know doing your mods
this car fix file that I placed in the
description will be able to fix it for
you I'm going to be showing you guys how
to install it because when I was doing
it for the first time my game actually
crashed how it works it's pretty simple
you're gonna open the zip file and
you're gonna have four different files
the first one is to be installed in a
specific location this is to be
installed in the XML folder this is
where we're at right now let's go back
it is in mods update
update.rpf Commons data and all you need
to do is copy the game config XML into
this place right here as you can see it
should be somewhere here let me just
find it right here game config.xml next
we're going to go back to the main game
directory which is the main game
director of GTA where you have the exe
and you're going to copy the Eep
adjusters all three of them into the
main game directory
so if you take a look you can see GTA 5
EP adjuster EB adjuster so you know that
they have been installed what we're
going to be doing now is closing
everything and we're going to go back to
steam
we're gonna click play we're gonna go
into the game
so now that we're inside of the game
you're going to press F3
and then you're going to scroll down to
where you see vehicle spawner
then you're gonna scroll down to the
bottom where you see add vehicle menu
added vehicle menu
and as you can see you see my 27 Nissan
GTR you're going to press the
a button and you're going to see the car
spawned perfectly
now we can go ahead and drive our Nissan
GTR
so pretty much that's how you do it if
